I went almost a year hearing this song on the car radio, thinking all that time that it was an Adele song. When I found out it was Lauren Daigle, I had no idea who she was, but I knew it was a very beautiful and spiritual song. The first is her I believe at 14 in the studio, and it was the first performance of hers where I ever heard her have to really reach to get the notes(I have nothing isn't covered by many as it is a tremendously hard song) the second is at 15, where she has it polished and sings it in the antique store where suspicious minds was set,, as a music video, and is ASTOUNDING. The third is a live performance that she is known to go for it singing. I'd go for the black and white first, then the studio to see how her vocal technique, even then, could make an exponential leap in a single year, and the last one to see her sing it to a crowd. It’s Angelina, 8 years old, live in front of a huge outdoor crowd singing the 1950’s Dinah Washington hit, What a Difference a Day Makes. A couple things to note: she is interviewed before the song, and it’s hard for the interviewer to pry even one word answers from shy Angelina, but when the music starts, Angelina transforms. She has said she goes into her musical world, and it’s so evident when she begins singing-swaying with the music she feels. It’s an extraordinary performance that should not be possible for a child, but Angelina knocks it out of the park. She's still very young, but she's been singing with professionals for a dozen years already. Even as a 7 y/o she won Norway's got talent. Even then the judges commented she was an old soul. In an interview at the beginning of her popularity she said her soul transports to a place beyond this world when she sings. When Angelina sings for us her soulfulness affects us to such a degree her love touches our hearts and we are overcome with a feeling so mystical we have never experienced anything like it before in our lives. Hi Red. Looking fab as always. This was part of Angelina's 2021 Christmas special. It was glorious. There was an interview with her and some of her musicians and a few other songs. Was a pay tiem so it's not completely available for some reason. Im sure our fellow angels will provide more deets. Notice ANgelina sang thru many of the end word consonants, connecting the lines with her beautiful smooth tones. Pretty sure the backing track is from Lauren's studio recording, so you should hear that organ there, too. All the other songs in this concert were to live musicians in the studio with her (near legendary musicans at that). It's foolish or naive to simply believe, they've said. Some even point out how believe has lie in its spelling. Seems to me this is actually the foolish or naive view because choice and faith sufficiently fill gaps between what's obviously or not obviously true. I know this channel isn't a book club, so just a mention that Steinbeck's East of Eden offers anyone an easy way to believe in truth. Or not. You Say At the very end of the Christmas Show on December 23, 2021, (she was 15 and would turn 16 on January 10, 2022). Angelina performed "You Say", and she stated this is for my fans. I lost my breath, and I got chills, and the tears began to fall. I am an atheist, and my faith is in mankind, and the universe, the antithesis of chaos, not some mythical being. I believe the song "You Say" is referring to Angelina's Angles, those that support her in her quest.
