Angelina is nothing short of a vocal prodigy. She tends to make most of us cry, at least sometimes (if not all the time). Most of her Adele covers can do that - try “A Million Years Ago,” “All I Ask,” or “Easy On Me” as examples.

What you will soon realize is that Angelina today at 18 Angelina is already the best Jazz singer on the Planet! IMO Soon to be one of the Best Vocalists of All Time. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. Someone You Loved: As we watch Angelina Jordan perform her last song on AGT on Feb 17, 2020, "Someone You Loved", you see the audience is completely captivated by AJ, and AJ alone in this performance. This is evident as she hits the high notes and the audience brakes out in applause, as did Simon, and she got a standing ovation. I was at first disappointed that others were on the stage with her but soon it was apparent they did not matter, as usual she was in complete control of the venue with her ethereal ability to totally hypnotize the audience.

Many many top level execs in the biz has said great things about her. In fact, she turned down Simons contract and by 14 yo she was signed to Universal Republic Records and they gave her everything! You have only just begun the journey. Angelina started singing at the age of 18 months and was in the studio for the first time at the age of 6. Her interpretation of "I put a spell on you" is worth seeing. In the meantime, she has recorded more than 200 cover songs and since she was 12 years old, she has been writing her own songs again and again. And she preformed it live at her Los Angeles (Glendale) concert that night! .She has been working with songwriter and producer, Toby Gad and the 2 of them wrote and recorded this song. He played piano for the performance at her concert! She also did an updated and much improved version of his song which Beyonce made famous-"IF I were a Boy" They recorded this for Toby's new album of all his hit songs "Piano Diaries"!

Queen was so impressed with Angelina's version of their big hit, that they shared copyright with her, which is almost never done. Angelina is able to record her version and receive royalties from it. She is knocking them dead in live concerts in California.

In addition to the 150+ covers Angelina has sung over the years of her career - she has also been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 13 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, Our Time, and Bad Valentine. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time. In addition, Angelina performed an unreleased original song Princess of Ruins that she has only performed in concert - if and when that is officially released it will be her 14th original.

Well, welcome to the AJ Rabbit Hole! You are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Even though she has been compared by many to Amy Winehouse, her major influence is Billie Holiday. Other influences are Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Etta James, Whitney Houston, and Adele to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 18 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, 2023, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out some time this year. Angelina released her new single, Our Time, and is fantastic! She returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. On September 22, 2023, Angelina had her first U.S. concert that sold out in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On December 11, 2023, she was asked to come back and perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She first performed at this prestigious event in 2014 when she was 8. On Feb.29th, 2024, she performed 2 shows on one night at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. A film crew followed her and created a documentary of her called Angelina Jordan: 10 Years In The Making which premiered on her official KZbin channel on March 29th, 2024. Currently, she is working with 3 time Grammy winner songwriter/producer Toby Gad creating new original music for her to sing. Gad has co-wrote and produced such big hits like All Of Me by John Legend, Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie, If I Were A Boy by Beyonce, and Skyscraper by Demi Lovato and a number of others. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day.
