Angels & Airwaves are so underrated. This song and the visuals are amazing. Props to the camera operators btw. I assume they recorded a CRT screen, which is actually pretty difficult. I didn't see many moire patterns or flickering. They absolutely nailed it.

@@ryanallen6443 Really? I honestly think this would be even more difficult in post. As long as you have camera equipment that lets you control shutter speed and stuff. it isn't THAT difficult. (apart from the moiré patterns, those are hell). I mostly have experience in premiere, I don't really do special effects that much. but I have no clue how I would do this. I really think they at least recorded a monitor (I'm not 100% sure if it's a CRT, but I think it is. Also fun fact, in the lyrics video of Blink-182 - no future, there are some parts that were also just someone recording a monitor.

It took many, many years but I finally fell in love with AvA. Tom has been one of my idols since hearing his guitar work on Dude Ranch. It also took many years to happen, and I thought I'd never say it, but I was way more excited for a new AvA record than I ever was for either of the last 2 blink records. (And I'm not someone that hates blink without Tom. Matt Skiba and Alkaline Trio are my all time favorite band, followed closely with Blink at #2. So, I do enjoy California and Nine. But one thing they can't ever replicate is Tom's passion and his message. He did truly perfect the pop song/nursery rhyme and it shows in how much more memorable the choruses on this album feels to what they did with Nine. Done rambling. I give it 5 Ford truck hats out of 5.
