Wow. What a fine actress she is - both of them, really. Julie was so beautiful and believable. It makes me wonder why she didn't achieve more success in motion pictures (not that her career is anything to sneeze at). All I can think is that she may have been passed over for some bigger roles on account of the shadow of Veruca Salt looming over her; I can see certain short-sighted casting directors and producers pigeonholing her like they did with Linda Blair and Elizabeth Berkley.

I love the part where the doctor lacks the presence of mind to shut the office door. I also believe the senior nurse actually enjoys giving cute little student nurses negative evaluations. Regardless, the scene exhibits acting and directing at it's finest.

It pained her to do it. She had to because it was her job. She was right to give her all those negative comments; she wasn't setting her priorities well and she was disrespectful to the other nurses. She even states that she is only saying all this because she sees potential in her and doesn't want her leading herself astray.
