At first it was so slow going that I started to get a little impatient. Thank goodness I kept watching...it was so beautiful and inspirational! So many ideas popped into my head. Thank you for making this video!

Oh wow! This is just gorgeous! I've never seen this technique before. My kiddos got leopard geckos for Christmas, so I'm going to try to replicate your design for them to hang near their terrariums. What a wonderfully better use of scrap fabrics than any other suggestions I've seen!

Ese papel tiene pegante como se llama gracias un abrazo desde mi Colombia
@novaz715 жыл бұрын
Hola ese papel efectivamente tiene pegamento por ambos lados que se funde con el calor de la plancha, lo consigues en tiendas de patchwork, ella usa el papel de pegamento lite que es más maleable, espero haberte ayudado, saludos 😁😘💕

Thank you, Angie. I have a question about the quilting part. What color thread did you use so that the white grout stays white and the dark background does not have a white thread showing through? Thanks. Kim
@AngiePadilla5 жыл бұрын
I used white thread and only quilted along the grout lines.
@kimlaffont99515 жыл бұрын
@@AngiePadilla And it looks okay on the back? I was worried it would look bad.
@AngiePadilla5 жыл бұрын
@@kimlaffont9951 The quilting does show on the back, but I'm ok with that. In the end, it is a little wall hanging, so you won't be looking at the back once it's hung.

Will ivory tulle work? I couldn't find clear tulle.
@AngiePadilla4 жыл бұрын
Any tulle will work. You should experiment, because even different colored tulle might give you an interesting effect. You could also try organza. The idea is to play with this.
@deborahreardon92454 жыл бұрын
I have done a 9x12 but after pressing the fusible still shows. What can I do or is that normal?
@AngiePadilla4 жыл бұрын
Because of the spacing some fusible will show. And that's ok. Just if you decide to press it any more you need to use the release paper or teflon sheet so it doesn't stick to your iron.

how do you get the second layer of lite steam a seam to come off with the mosaic pieces in place? This is lovely
@AngiePadilla3 жыл бұрын
There is no second layer of steam of seam. What I place on top of the mosaic design is a piece of transparent tulle (or organza), to help keep the pieces in place. And then quilt on top of that.
@triplel96913 жыл бұрын
@@AngiePadilla No I mean the second piece of paper which is stuck to the webbing
@AngiePadilla3 жыл бұрын
@@triplel9691 Once you press the mosaic pieces onto the steam a seam you just peel the release paper off. The place the mosaic on top of your quilt sandwich. Does that make sense?
@triplel96913 жыл бұрын
@@AngiePadilla I clearly need to practice more as the release paper doesn't want to let go :)
