Ankor (and The Beyon especially) is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited. It’s lovely to see it again though your eyes. Keep up the good work!

Wow! I visited Cambodia like 15 years ago when I just got back from a big trip in India. And at that time I didn't really appreciate Angkor Wat as I had seen a lot in south India...now your videos made me feel like going back again. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your channel.

That is so sad but special for you. I visited in 2019, and at 5am, it was like a rush hour with bikes and buses and must have been 2,000 people there. Siem Reap and the people are just so lovely. Good idea with a local guide, what you did in a day would take 2 days on your own.

Thanks! Enjoyed your vlog. I was doing a ‘word search’ page and the title was Architectural Achievements. Angkor Wat was on there and I had no idea what it was or where located. So looked up on KZbin and came across your video. I have never traveled outside US but would love to visit the places you two showcased.

Actually it’s a better time to visit Angkor Wat is now after pandemic cuz not crowded u get to explore more in details,u got the places to yourself. It’s amazing, incredible, and magical. I have been there many times but always feel so peaceful there. It’s a once in a life time to see and a visit. I agreed with you, hearing and watching all the you tubers videos don’t do it justice like seeing in your very eye. So I highly recommended.

Angkor is the whole city which is the largest Pre-Industrial city in the world at that time in the 12th century had over 1 million people. Angkor Wat which is also a city/temple complex comprises one of the boroughs of Angkor and stands as the largest temple in the world. Angkor as a whole is just the tip of the iceberg of Imperial Khmer. There are thousands of Khmer temples in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

believe it or not I've been there about 5 times, but every time I went to see the sunset or sunrise, the weather either cloudy or raining. There are lots more places to see at Angkor Wat, like Banteay Srey, Bayon, etc...
