Larry Cedar is made of awesome. This was the best video, from the hands-down best kids show of the 1980s. And for all of those that are disturbed by this, I can kind of understand. When I was little, it used to scare me too...but now I recognize it for the genius that it is.

I finally remember who his appearance in this video reminds me of. Different actor, but in the seventh episode of _Adam-12_ Reed and Malloy answer a disturbing-the-peace call and find a New Age-y "Temple of Peace and Love" on the verge of a schism over meditation styles. One of the parties involved resembles Cedar in this vid.

In 1999, my high school geometry teacher showed this to my class. It caused an almost unprecedented uproar...students demanding he pause the video during the particularly orgasmic faces so we could all scream laugh. Outbursts during the particularly cheesy lyrics. We listened to a lot of Korn and Ice Cube back then...hadn’t yet fully discovered the many wonders of 80s new wave synth pop. Regardless, those were the good ole days...
