Ergonomic tension bars (from all vendors) are a win. They are all so useful and help with preventing pain in your hand/fingers.Thanks for the awesome review!

They look and work great mate. I have Petersons in both model types... Original pry bars and then others with a notch to stop pushing in lock too far.... And finally the flat 5s..... Like the flat 5 ones as some are flexible and bend when tensioning allowing bet access with pick. These you tested look amazing. If you remember MANY YEARS back, there were videos of people heating and bending their own pry bars.... Looks like this solves that issue straight out of factory. 👍👍👍👍

Should have shown us what the left-handed tensioner looks like in the right hand. Cuz you know someone is going to use it like that at some point Excellent video as always

Very nice. I might check their site out. A point to note for newbies, left-handed ones go in your right hand, and right-handed ones go in your left hand.

I like the fact they are bent both ends.

I recently got the CI Ergo turners but they are only ergo on one end. This is a better design but three times the price so there is the trade off.

Thanks for the review! These are made of very strong steel and are very comfortable when picking in the hand. No more cramps while picking :) Got mine tree weeks ago and i'm very pleased with them. LN please teel us about the Multipick Facet lock pick, PN79!

This was my main hang-up with the Mad Bob curved turners, which I did write to them about. They made each gauge, forming an S-shape looking at the flat/wide side and S-shaped looking at the thin narrow side. When swapping from the level keyway to the recessed keyway, it flipped from being a left hand tool to a right hand tool. Drove me nuts, because it was very obvious to someone using them, but somehow an opportunity missed; maybe they just made metal shapes and didn't understand the point I was making. Oh well, its a bit late now.

My only complaint is that they don't have something that the Covert Instruments prybars (both the regular ones and the ergo turners) have, as well as the Peterson toothless prybars have. The short end is just long enough to tension slightly inset locks like American Lock padlocks. The reason I like using the short end for that, as opposed to the longer end, is using the longer end means you will have more of the tensioner hanging out, which will ultimately give you a little less control. Seriously, give it a try if you have one of them that you can do it with. Pick an American Lock padlock (or similar, of course) with the short end of a CI/Peterson toothless/etc. and then use the long end. You'll see that the short end gives you significantly more control over the core.

My first thought American 1100! Perfect for that type of upper keyway.

Hello Lock Noob, I saw in one of your videos that you use such tensioners from Multipick. Do you know if they can still be bought somewhere?

So why are there a couple of bars with the etching reversed ? Inquiring minds wants to know ?

Been doing this to mine for a couple of years now and I won't go back to straight bars.

i can think of a con: it's shape makes it a lot more annoying to store compared to flat turners

They did prove a 1.3mm tool; you're just holding it with the 0.047" end up Mind you, 0.047" is 1.2mm, not 1.3mm, so one of the markings in incorrect, but i can't see where such a small difference would matter.

Bad idea for me. Straight one is to short for bending.

Law lock tools seems convenient to be mixed up with lock picking lawyers branding??? I’d rather see someone succeed without a piggyback.

Law Lock Tools is owned by Andy Law, hence the name. They've been making tools for the lock industry for a longtime, way before Lock Picking Lawyer.
