Just binge watched this whole little series and I’m very impressed with the calm cool and collected nature from Chris. Great pilot and instructor. I’m about a month into my instrument training and love watching these videos and see what real life IFR flyings like. I’m in a G1000 so fairly similar to your new setup. Love the content and can’t wait for the next episode! I work in anchorage in the summer in tourism and would love to sneak over to Homer for a lesson from you!

I do my training out of YQR and have been following along the whole series, I gotta say it’s cool to see the prairies on your video! Saskatchewan doesn’t have a big aviation community so this is awesome to see! Loves the videos Chris and keep it up!

Great video again Chris! I have never been turned around getting into Canada, but it was always a possibility. North battle Ford has great memories for me. We camped out there on our third trip to Alaska on the way back. What was so spectacular was the northern lights. I had seen them before, but never such a great display. They were multicolored and streaking up and down. See you in June.

Even tho this is more than a year ago, it's still fun to watch. I'm with you, you're a bit too tressed. you're over thinking this. I like how you bring us into your stress by telling us what you were thinking at the time. This will forever be an iconic moment using your masks. We'll always remember what that was about.

I've found the biggest issue as a returning Canadian is that the same phone number and people handle customs for private boats and private planes and sometimes get confused about which kind of vehicle you're arriving in. Not an issue in Saskatchewan (despite their history of piracy) but very much an issue in southwestern B.C.
@bigmike23192 жыл бұрын
oh come on, its Angle of Oottack :p and the border where you flew over its literally a double 3 wire barbed wire fence
@markbrown24502 жыл бұрын
Chris, I don’t know if you’ve addressed this before so I apologize ahead of time if you have. Does 23U sit in a more nose-high configuration than others 172s or am I imagining it? I know it has bigger tires but I wouldn’t think that would raise the noise.
