I wondered that to but when me and my brother went out in the Potomac river we caught 2 snakehead and around 9 bass but also we had many blowups so there could have been more snakehead striking our lure

every body of water is different! some places i fish have nothing but snakeheads and bowfins, some places is a mix, some places have more snakes than bass where it used to be strictly bass. don't let the internet biologists (seems like everyone are these days) mislead you with bad info!

What hook do you use to rig the Pop Shadz? (I didn't understand)

I would use a Gamakatsu EWG Superline series so it's nice and thick. snakehead can bend your lure hooks easily. I think a 3/0 or 4/0 would fit that. it should float!
