Great idea. I'm going to have to try a pair of these. Horizontal bar chin-ups always give me elbow tendonitis, but rings that allow me to move freely don't. These look super portable as well.

I really like mine. I have smaller hands so my grip is always the first thing to give out, even with working on grip strength and duration. These make it easier to work for longer without my hands being the weak link in the chain. The only thing is it takes a while to learn to trust that those small straps will hold you securely, but each individual one is rated to 400lbs. Still good to check them for wear and tear often.

Yea they are great been using them again and really like how they feel and a great variations to standard bar pull ups

I bought these exact same things in Thailand under the name "most grip" for 230 baht for 2 😂 (that's like 6 euros) I use them to elongated the rope and get a better grip with Facepulls and standing cable Rope rear delt rows. I also use them for supinated close grip pulldowns, because I can slightly rotate my grip and pull my arms back further because I'm not limited by metal. I also sometimes use it to change the grip on a lever row(from using it with a vertical grip to a horizontal and vice versa) Also used them for reverse gripe preacher curls. Because the straight bar was hurting my wrists They are quite useful if you are creative.

Hey sorry for the late reply, Yes I have seen Cheap versions out there and I'm sure they do the job just be safe with them. They can be a versatile bit of kit and like you said, be creative and they are useful

Would this work for someone who experiences rear shoulder pain from pull ups/chin ups?

Great review mate One question - have you tried doing weighted chin ups with them? I’d like to know if they can handle something like 150kg of weight
@LeeDowningKeat Жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the review mate, each strap and handle can handle 180kg so 360kg altogether. Hope that helps
@Studentsvoice560 Жыл бұрын
@@LeeDowningKeatnot true, you are not combining straps to one handle, using them independently from each other only gives them the strength of each strap. Your body weight is the same on each handle, if you hold one handle its holding what ever weight you are, if you hang from 2 handles the weight is still the same on each handle.

@@Studentsvoice560 Fortunately, you are incorrect. when a weight is suspended from two anchors (that are directly above the load), the load is shared between the anchors.

Good video, thanks for that. What is the diameter of the handles at the thickest point? Thanks for the info.
@LeeDowningKeat Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching glad you found it useful, looks around 1” 1/2 thick but has grooves so comfortable in the grip but you do have to grip harder I find

Only buy them if you have small hands. My hands are M-L and the straps cut into my fingers no matter how I use them.

Are they better than the swissies ?
@LeeDowningKeat Жыл бұрын
Yes as they have more uses but swisses are pretty good too, I recently got some that are at a 45 degree angle
@Pryma809 ай бұрын
Def. not. I have a pair of angles that I never use. Angles 90 have a tendecy to in to your fingers and etc. I do not recommend. Swissies I do use especially when have paiful elbows

You do realise you can change to where the cane comes from, right? You can get it around the sides so it doesn't go between your fingers.....
@GASH_one2 ай бұрын
Same thing. The straps are too narrow for a man's middle finger. Even when I put the straps through the side slits, they still cut into the sides of my hands.
