These will be very helpful for my dead lifts like you demonstrated. Also being 6"4 with a lower back injury I'm excited to try these. I just ordered mine yesterday

They'll definitely help you from going down too far. You're a tall guy.

Hold up, you're a doctor too?! I subbed to your gym channel today due to the excellent DIYs and reviews 🤣 Been close to hurting myself on a pull up bar. The hand placement and angle does feel unnatural and locked in. 110% gonna get me some Angles90. They seem very useful.

How would you compare a traditional dealift, trap bar deadlift, and deadlifts with angles 90?
@drjoseguevara Жыл бұрын
Since Angles90 uses straps, there's less stability but you can play around with the width of the handles to what feels best for you. If you have low back issues, using the angles90 can help to keep your arms closer to your body which can create better control. You'll probably have to be on some platform since the handles will limit the range of motion on the way down.

So doing the pull ups just like you say won’t impinge my shoulder ?
@drjoseguevara Жыл бұрын
Doing them in a more neutral position helps to prevent impingement

Si todavia estas con mucho dolor seria mejor hacer ejercicios con solo el peso de tu cuerpo antes de levantar pesas hasta que mejores

these seem very good for rehabilitation and maybe shoudl be sold as such... seem not so much helpful for heavier weights due to the small grips.. as per injury from various weighted moves - technique seems very important.. It just seems another expensive thing to have in the gym bag next to a towel and drink bottle... so much you shoudl could just be done with regular gym equipment (and not need an expensive 80.00 thing or gimmick) - the deadlift bar could be sitting on benches or other weights so it was higher and you don't have to bend so much... (for example and that from a guy who has only been deadliftiing since early 2019) I dislocated my left shoulder (quite badly it seems) but my personal trainer pointed out (when I went to see him a week after injury) that there was no bruising (as I regularily [... for a year then] deadlift as well as over head press (starting strength methods) as ell as bench and squat (low bar) . After the injury the hospital advised keep the arm in a sling and don't use for 4 weeks (minimum) but sports doctor advised get it moving ASAP - I had almost no strength in that arm and was barely able to lift a pink (very very light) dumb bell... but gradually built up strength so taht now (a year later..) I wouldn't even know it happened as no impingement in the shoulder and same strengt as the right shoulder (sometimes better) .. why i say thins is I am not sure the angle 90 thingy woudl have been helpful ...
