I enjoyed your videos on North Wales which is where I live. Wild campers get some very bad press in my home town, mainly because of what they leave behind, and there lack of respect for our home town, the rubbish they leave behind is unbelievable. Hanging your washing out to dry in a beautiful location is unacceptable. I like your videos because you are teaching campers how to behave and have respect for our beautiful area of the country, and how to blend into the area without being a nuisance. Well done you are doing a great job.
@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Robert. Sorry to here about the problems you experience in your home town. There are always the few who spoil things for everyone else and they are not always campers. Stiffer penalties need to be introduced to punish the offenders.

Been watching a lot of your videos recently. I'm from the Wirral but moved down South. I used to spend a lot of time in North Wales, and found your videos when showing my partner where I love to be. I've suffered a lot recently with agoraphobia so it makes watching these bittersweet. I've missed these places, but I'm working on it! Life is really too short to be scared to do things. Me and my partner have a Honda Jazz that we are converting into a very small camper. And I'm hoping to start getting out and about more with it. Your videos have been an inspiration to me. Thank you I love the music you use, so different to the usual van touring ones I've seen. Especially like the one at 6:38

I love that our videos make people feel relaxed. We don’t actually set out to achieve that affect but many people have said the same. We certainly don’t go looking for strife and if it happens it’s always real and as we actually experience it. It’s rare though. 😁👍

I came across your vlogs by accident after being keen on getting an NV200 myself, and I’m completely hooked. I would have loved to do this sort of thing with my late husband but I can’t walk very far these days and he liked his creature comforts too much. We did have a La Strada Sprinter for a while but she always spent the nights in hotel car parks while we were inside. Now on my own, this would be ideal for me to get away now and then. I like the NV200 because it would become my every day vehicle too. I am so enjoying watching where you end up and your exploits; your vlogs are very professionally put together. I look forward to catching up on all those you’ve already made and lots of new ones in the future. Thank you. 🥰

@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
The drone flights tend to be pretty short as I know what I want before I take off. Setting it up and putting it away again is a faff but it’s delicate so has to be done. I sometimes leave it all set up on the floor in the back if I think there may be opportunities along the way. Much easier but more risky if something was to fall on it. The editing always takes a long time but at least I enjoy it most of the time 😁

Loved the footage at the start of the video of your overnight stop and the beach. I've sat on that seafront but hadn't seen the beach or Love Island. Hi guys . Great vlog as always . Just wondered if you have ever heard of an Omnia stove top oven . Think u guys would make great use of one. Made by a Swedish company I believe . Considering one myself as we don't have an oven in our camper . Lots of youtube vids about them with recipes too. Keep travelling .
@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lee. Yes we have heard of them and would love to try one. Biggest problem for us though would be storage, we simply don’t have a scrap of spare space in our little van so something else would have to go. There are alternatives some of which pack flat, after all it’s just a box that retains heat at the end of the day. That would be a secondary concern for us because of the limited space. Not a problem at all for bigger vans though 👍

Did you leave the tin foil on the pies when cooking in the ridge monkey? Do you find the cooking smells stay in the fabric in your van? I love the way you edit your videos and the way you use your music to add effect, from a viewers point of view it really is worth all the effort you put it, Thanks.
@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andy, it’s good to know all the editing work is appreciated. We did leave to pies in the tin foil when cooking to stop them falling apart. We do occasionally smell what we cooked the night before when we raise the roof but opening the side vents, windows or doors to air the van soon clears it.
