I’m a new member at an Anglican Church in America and I wish I knew about the BCP way before just a few months ago. I recognize that other Christians can use the BCP or have their own similar prayer books, and I really love that about our tradition. It is free for the taking, and it is also a distinct rite that separates us from contemporary Protestant churches, The Roman Church, and orthodox churches.

I love the structure of the BCP (1928) and came to Anglicanism (APCK) on All Saints’ Sunday in 2023, confirmed a year later to the Sunday.

Before the new church year started, I told people that I'm going to continue to pray the 1928 BCP Daily Office, but use the BCP Canada 1962 lectionary to replace the First and Second Lessons in the Office. One person was like 'Why would you do that, the whole point is that your praying corporately with others.' But in one of the BCP Facebook groups I found out that there's other people out there that do the same, pray the 1928 BCP but use the 1962 Canada lectionary. Also some pray the 1928 and use the 1662 lectionary too.
