Ive got some pencil thin bobbers that they use over in Europe for match fishing Thank goodness we can still use big floats here. Never thought about using tungsten and large bobbers though. I mostly use bobbers for catfishing now

11:31 "these are tungsten so they are 30% less dense than lead". Better have someone check that script for accuracy 😉 Of course, I know what was intended, but fact is tungsten is a little over 40% MORE dense than lead so physical size being equal can make them easier casting. Not sure where your "30%" came from... Other than that always love this content, thanks!

What's a good slip bobber not to use so it doesn't get caught in the reel all the time when you cast?.. mine gets caught a lot of times even if I trim the tags.. any suggestions?

Try using the rubber bobber stops. Or try a rod specifically designed for slip bobbering. 2B fishing makes an amazing slip bobber rod.

@@brycehoffmann3237 That's exact rod I'm using and it's still doing it and I've never heard of anybody using rubber bobber stoppers .. what do you guys use? Do you use rubber ones or string?

String is king. Just gotta cut it back.

Rubber works decent, I still use string more, try different brand stops, pull it good and tight. I use a razor blade to cut the tails flush, same way I join my braid and leader.
