As I understand it it would reduce the number of dice by one for each subsequent round. So if you only have one spare die you can afford to use it once per battle

It's -1 dice when you use it for the rest of the match with that opponent so not as good as you think. As on turn 4 he would have 0 die

@@SpaceDroplet he was however putting the 5s into bear maul which dont care nearly as much as bear hug, everytime he put a 5 or 6 into bear maul it could have been in bear hug with a 1 in bear maul to do way more damage

@@Redfog-z6u Nah with each die he loses he'll reduce his odds of getting a high dice for the maul so lose a couple damage per turn, plus if he goes beneath 3 dice then he'll not be able to do maul + maul + hug which might win him the battle a turn early.

i will never understand tom's obsession with 6's, it's inherently clear in his base kit that he wants 3 or less to use the butterfly knife, the only thing 4 or more is useful for is getting more dice to use on the butterfly knife or using whatever random equipment he gets from the enemy. watching tom play the thief for the first 7 or so minutes was so painful, because no matter what equipment he has, he just always defaults to "roll high numbers = good" like he could have a mega death ray which kills the opponent instantly but only works when you roll at or under 5 and he'd still find some justification to try for 6's.

I believe that the mod author mentioned somewhere that they wanted to add some new enemies and that they're not an artist so they did what they could. I wouldn't fault them too much on that one aspect because the amount of content they added to the game is pretty amazing.

@@Merzendi I literally cannot imagine that it would permanently get rid of a die, that would make it the worst item in the game. I'm 100% certain that it just costs an extra die during the turn, otherwise it would say something like "lose one die for the fight" or similar.
