Dan is the only singer I've ever encountered whose voice can truly be called an "instrument" - an overused term that usually just means "voice." But Dan is such a virtuoso, and he can do such astonishing things with his beautiful and highly-trained voice. In this cover I think he really does play his voice like an instrument. The pitches are crazy to begin with, but the register switches are incredibly smooth and gorgeous. A real tour-de-force.
