White House Chief of Staff John Kelly delivered an angry, emotional press conference Thursday as he attempted to defend President Trump's phone call to the family of a slain U.S. serviceman.

Cool 😎, so our country is being consumed by being too smart? Whatever country you want to be part of, please leave me out, I would like to know if my leader is an asshat and how he can deliver the message that he obviously has no... qualifications to deliver. Our president makes light of the military because he says that he is an expert in it, but he has actually never served! Wow 😮 lets give the president a gun and see if he can actually hit anything? No, so how can he hold up his head at the NRA? He can’t even bring down a buck!

@@miamisands3412 In February of 1933, when agents of Hitler's National Socialist party burned the Reichstag (the German legislature), then blamed it on the Communists -- within a month, the Reichstag convened again in temporary quarters, and passed legislation which made Hitler a dictator. (The 'enabling' act.) Back then, Germans who recognized Hitler and the Nazi's for what they were (genocidal totalitarian maniacs) had a place they could go to find sanctuary from what was about to descend upon Europe. A young nation, less than 200 years old, called the United States, defined by a Bill-of-Rights, intended to protect its citizens from the likes of Adolph Hitler. Unfortunately, in spite of his best intentions, Trump has failed to protect us from the gangrene of political corruption which has infested every political institution, our civil-service, and now, even our news-media, both the old and the new. The contagion of Communism has infested every continent and sovereign nation (to varying degrees), so there really is nowhere 'else' we can go. All I can offer are a few words from a President (who's statue was recently torn down by 'anti-fascist' rioters here in Portland, Oregon): "The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." (Abraham Lincoln, December 1st, 1862) Bottom-line, there is no place to go other than the here and now. We either fight for what we have taken for granted, or meanly acquiesce to the seditionists in our midst, who seek to realize Xi JinPing's vision of 'Ant-Hill Earth', here, there, and everywhere.

@@tbthomas5117 The idea that you would actually write a post like this that starts like that, and immefiately proceed to blame "Communism" for what we just witnessed in the bald faced Naziesque attempt to seize power is absurd. I had to reread this to figure out if it was some kind of satire. But at least Hitler actually served his country. Bonespurs combines all the worst impulses of those authoritarians with being a weak man, a flabby man, the defition of the effeminate flabbiness of self serving men who've been destroying our country, and that you would somehow both try and excuse the bottomlessly corrupt behavior of people like Trump while making what should've been an absurdist parody of a post disgusts me. Moreover I suspect the intellectual dishonesty, doublethink, and hypocrisy of traitors to America like you is fully intentional, and repulsive people like you are no different than any of our foreign enemies had been, and who is clearly tone deaf enough that you know the words but not the music so to speak, as though you can ramble off about Lincoln and Hitler and we won't see through it. I take it yoy also don't pay attention to anything the news. This is all the more hilarious because a man truly deserving of honor and respect in this country has utterly savaged Trump, calling him the most astoundingly dishonest and pathetic man, while Trump in turn has insulted, denigrated, disparaged, and cheapened the sacrifices of actual heroes as a matter of routine. The fact you are oblivious to all this and had the nerve to post this in an interview with general Kelly while trying to be a trumpcuck for one of the most craven, pathetic, dishonest, flabby, WEAK and pathetic men who've ever held high office in this country is truly astonishing to me.

@@drek9k2 Just reading a post by someone so ignorant, inarticulate, and consumed by hatred such as this one, was rather unpleasant -- but I did it anyway. Not only did you miss my point completely, you missed General Kelly's as well. I can't help but believe Trump is looking forward to returning to private life. Ask the average college kid about sacred. Some are convinced that mom and dad are raciest. The leftist communist Marxist invaded infiltrated the church long ago. It has already destroyed many lives trapped in poverty over several generations of government dependency. Marxism destroys by design everything it touches.

@@charlesrhoads399 I think that we answer the same call, a call I first heard as I walked home from school one day, where I was just learning my abc's!... As I walked down my street, I noted that in a vacant lot on my left a big boy was standing over a small boy laying partially on the ground at his feet! And the look on that boys face was, "a pleading call, please help me?" Something in my mind switched on, and I immediately turned and walked directly out onto the field and put myself in front of the larger boy! My mouth opened and out came, "this is wrong, leave him alone and go away!" And to my complete surprise, that is exactly what he did! That was the day that I discovered that I am a protector; and I have always been, and always will be that way! And just this year, my 76th, I went over some of the incidents where I believe God, my Higher Power!... Blessed me, by placing me in just the right position to be of service! And not bragging, but the total number of people who were present and could have been injured or died, adds up to just about forty, I was surprised at the number! And I know that my service is far from over, until I draw my last breath, "I am on call!" And so I train every day, "as though I will be in a life and death struggle tomorrow!" And I know enough about Marxism, to know that it is a government system of organized bullies! 1. Similar to the Mafia, and some Religions, it is elitist and thus it is stupid! 2. It makes up laws as it needs them, and the little people are powerless! 3. It becomes innovative by copying the innovations of free market countries! 4. Or it becomes innovative out of fear, "The USA has rockets, so we will put up satellite's first, and thus the Space Race!" 5. When the leader/priest(s) comes up with an idea, "be suspicious and fearful, because he/they are the stupidest of all!" 6. Mao had a thought, "the birds are eating grain, and depleting some of our reserves!" 7. So Mao said, "every citizen has a daily quota of birds to kill, or they will be punished!" 8. He was warned, but he was the leader/priest(s) so he didn't listen? 9. Soon over the fields of China there appeared black clouds of locusts and etc!... And before it was over, 45 million innocent Chinese Men, Women, and Children starved to death! That is how stupid a Communist System/Religion and its Leaders can be, and there are many more examples of this kind of stupidity!

Clyde Michael it is precisely a political issue. Politics is how we decide how to dole out justified use of violence. If the death of a military servicemen is not a political issue, than maybe punching a police officer in the face shouldn’t have any consequences either!
@sheeplehunter96512 жыл бұрын
@@raqueljacobs1542 You clearly don't understand how analogies work because your attempt at one was illogical, possibly because logic eludes you. If didn't have such an aversion to logic you would understand that the death of the service member wasn't the issue that he was referring to. The issue that shouldn't have been made political was the offering of condolences to the family because it is selfish and spineless to try and make a political statement about a private conversation she was eavesdropping on. It diverts attention from the sacrifice made by the service members due to an egotistical desire to politically grandstand. If you don't understand how the private words used while offering condolences shouldn't be weaponized to steal the spotlight, especially when that statement had nothing to do with how or why life was lost, then you have no shame or class just like the clown of a congresswoman. This is the same congresswoman who stated a day or two later that she was a "rockstar" when interviewed. Two years after that she proposed that there be prosecution for anyone that dares to make fun of members of congress online, clearly a tyrannical mindset from someone with such little mind.

Well you had me in the beginning but now I've got to put my opinion out there especially as the daughter of Marine, who is raised for six years camp Pendleton. Now I'm a great grandmother who's great son-in-law is a Marine at Camp Pendleton. My precious one of two of my oldest granddaughter and the mother of two tiny little boys and semper Fi I pledge my sacred honor to always be what my dad by example LED his life by those words. I took it upon myself as the information that 73% of the casualties of the conflict created during the Bush administration were happening on American soil during training exercises. Light armored vehicles rolling over, nine ton trucks rolling over, inoperable equipment, lack of equipment that Marines were begging for Camp lejeune for the grunts to have the right helmets to wear at night because they use live ammunition and the grunts couldn't see. We ended up sending 2 million of our greatest to a war that wasn't our war to fight unbeknownst to the American people at the time I'm still most people are ignorant thank God to the reality of why we were really there. We have let them down our veterans again by not providing the adequate aftercare that they so desperately need. Doesn't close your families. The highest suicide rate our Marines. The suicide attempts are too enormous to put a number on the complete are no longer 22 a day they may be double triple that because of the lack post care promised to them that they would be taking care of. My state of Washington senator Patty Murray she ran in 91 on making our veterans safe her number one priority as we entered the gulf storm of which my son-in-law was her injured as a Marine. And as you know Marines are boots on the ground first and they never come home. Because a Marine is a marine singular that's never plural because they are one that's why only A few Good Men are Marines. I called the common dad when the rollover happened and the lieutenant was killed he saved the kid blowing by pushing him down took the roll over. What was an 18-ft hole doing up in the ground and the canyons that I remember so well as a child why was there an 18-ft hole? Why did eight Marines and one sailor drowned in an amphibious vehicle right off the coast a San Clemente Island and super deep water.? I told the aid of the commandant as he tried to placate me and got a little smug I had to remind him that a marine is always respectful especially to a mother a grandmother and women in general. And that I would get in touch with that common Dot mark my words but he was to give him a message from me that he was a derelict to this duty to commandant of Camp Pendleton. That one my dad served if there had been any illegal activity as there was happening down there with smuggling that would have never happened. And as far as the death being on American soil during training exercises there wasn't enough money to fix all the equipment that was broken down probably still is. Never underestimate the daughter of a Marine a grandmother and a mother who's lost her son in 2007 so my rights are to ask the question and your commanded to give an honest answer. Sorry for your loss of your son. I'm sorry for every boy and girl that's given there all and will live with cpsd and be forgotten just like Vietnam. The fact that you can stand there say that your son is on a fifth tour tells me that your duty as a father comes first and you're out of your mind and my sympathies go out to his mother. That commandant has been replaced not because of me perhaps it was the West point incident that happened with the college boys their families with money there was a rollover. One more thing but Obama why were our seals and a chinook begging for backup to be shot down drug out beat up and they died with their weapons and their hands together. That Obama would cremate the remains The Marine a sailor a soldier and not be held accountable? His and their parents have asked the government why? To expect an honest answer from a senior officer and any branch of the military especially if you've gone on to work in administration that has a history of being the wolf that are boys and girls in the American people are sheep that are trusting the dogs will keep them safe. But uh-oh the dogs haven't been fed the sheep will be okay after all they're only wolves and the sheep don't know that. Reminds me of my son when a marine goes down their bodies are never left out in the open table crawl through gunfire to bring that brother back with him because remember a Marine singular they're all one. And to all of you that know the truth going back to the psychological warfare with Vietnam and now with the Middle East hey George Bush said it himself I'm going to take out five countries and 7 years. When asked what what did Iraq do he goes well nothing. And then Obama said hey we found it isis we trained him. And of course we left all our equipment behind for the Iraqis. And in Afghanistan our boots on the ground hell yeah they're walking the opium fields keeping them safe. Semper Fidelis 🕊️🇺🇲

Gen. Kelly said In the White House briefing room that “there is no perfect way to deliver news about this loss ...” (paraphrased), however Gen. Kelly fails to realize that nobody is asking for “PERFECTION” but what we are demanding Is TACT when communicating ULTIMATE LOSS & SACRIFICE!!!!! KEWAN BONHARDT

It's NOT what the person say is how they say it. You shouldn't hide behind a phone,(ex-Commander in Chief trump), the person who breaks up the news to the families of a lost BROTHERS need to have tact, be supportive of their loss, be Respectful, show sympathy and over all be sincere about their loss. Why do You think "Chaplains" are the ones sent along with another Servicemember to give the news in person, the person giving the condolences have to be anyone who knows about OUR Military Service first hand, Customs & Courtesies, the horrors of Combat and what it means to SERVE in OUR Armed Forces. Sometimes the Chaplain is accompanied by one of OUR BROTHER lost friends. The ex-Commander in Chief had absolutely NO clue about these things, he could speak a long time but at the end he said nothing but talking about himself. He wanted to do something different against the suggestion of someone who knows a lot better but he insisted on ignoring his advisor and his action backfired. No matter what comes out of his mouth, he completely lacks RESPECT towards OUR Servicemembers which is unnaceptable. Maybe he didn't wrote the letter because he don't know how to write but hell, his advisor could've wrote for him and he'd only had to sign it. How hard can it be?. I think that the issue was that he failed to treat the widows of our lost BROTHERS without any RESPECT, Sympathy or Tact which is absolutely required when notifying about an important loss like this. After all, every loss of even one Servicemember is a very serious thing to our COUNTRY but for the families of OUR BROTHERS it's simply devastating. This isn't about politics, it's simply about knowing how to do the Honorable, Intelligent, Correct and right thing to do. To OUR BROTHERS lost throughout history, Thank You for Your SERVICE!, YOU'll NEVER be forgotten. To the families, OUR prayers go out for You and the SAD events You'd had or had to endure. SEMPER FI!

@catherinelewis22486 жыл бұрын
No one in their right mind would ever let Trump call someone who is grieving and talk to them "off the cuff." The man has no idea of what compassion or empathy is and I doubt he has ever heard the word "tact" in his life! Unless he has a script and can read it, he messes up every time. Please don't let him call again! As for General Kelly, the Congress woman listened to the conversation as did everyone in the limo because it was on SPEAKER. It would have been impossible NOT to hear it.

Mary....you are a very sad person. went on from this point to give Americans the best economy we have ever seen. People had on average about $5000 extra in a year than pre-Trump. Blacks had historic low levels of unemployment...never seen before, as was true for women. Hispanics as well. We were energy independent for the first time in my lifetime ( I am 70). . ... It was an amazing performance, especially in light of Obummer's contention that high unemployment and low wages was the new norm. Slow growth was something he said we must become accustomed to. And he dismissed Trump's claim that he could create a great economy.." what's he going to do? Wave a magic wand?" Until Fauci, the Democrats and the CCP created the monster of Covid, and then turned it loose to ruin the economic recovery, and help the cheating Democrats steal an election (" you are too close!!!! Get away from me!! 6 feet 6 feet!!" and the theft was ondrizzled out, we learn more and more how criminal the Democrats are. How closely allied with the CCP they are. How corrupt Biden and his son are.. You can despise Trump all you want. You are entitled to your opinion. But, no one is entitled to their made up facts. Truth is truth. As the truth is
