Judge Simpson would do quite well in the 6th Federal district. I’m pretty sure unless he does at least five years years in the federal court system, I think it would be nearly impossible for him to get approved to the U.S. Supreme Court.

I really do have a ton of respect for Judge Simpson. Anytime a defendant angers him beyong words, he steps out to regain himself to help make sure each defendant gets a gair and neutral judge and not let anger over someone else affect his next cases. I also respect that he doesnt play any games, gives plenty of chances but when the hammer falls it FALLS. He also maintains control of his court and doesn't accept anyone trying to take over thr court.

Celebrities hire PR firms to monitor their social media presence. As a judge, Simpson will have to requisition for additional court staff to fulfill this function. Should only need four or five new staff positions to manage the work. I hope they take care of this as soon as possible.

I took my stepson to court the other day. After watching channels like this you get a sense of how courts work. I was shocked when all the sudden the judge would announce ~ "courts in recess for 10 minutes". The judge would basically jump up, robes swishing and disappear, giving no time at all for the bailiff to even announce all rise. The judge would appear as suddenly as he disappeared too lol. Makes the lil corner of my world, in rural southern Virginia, feel even more backwoods country bumpkin than other places.lolol

@@croach2194 aren’t we argumentative for a Canadian! You are taking the word “yell” too literally. It’s akin to “hollered at”, in country parlance, and has NOTHING to do with the volume of delivery.

@croach2194 22 сағат бұрын
@@timboraymon5302 Yes, we Canadians can indeed be feisty. :) We are also fair-minded. With respect to 'holler at' you are indeed correct and used idiomatically or in slang you are quite right that it does not refer to volume. However 'yell' or 'yell at' is really not akin to 'holler at'. Yell is defined as "To address someone or something with a loud cry or shout." while "yell at" means "to shout at someone or something, usually in anger." I think in court and in contracts it is very very important to take words literally. Thanks for teaching me about "Hollering". I did not know that.

6:12 Who the hell os the defmece attorney. You might argue that the defendant called the witness and told them not to show up, HOWEVER, the defendant is sorry and won't do it again. Her argument was that he did that SO she's requesting he remain out on bond... On what planet would you make the argument that he breached all his terms and harassed a witness so that means there should be no consequences. I was laughing so hard with her whispering "so you did do it". That might have been a conversation for the hallway before they came in. I'm assuming she was hoping that her not having heard the calls would mean they were just overlooked... That was her first approach. Very dire for this defendant if that's his counsel.

For a nation so beloved of freedom, how some of its citizens could act so stupidly when a judge has their freedom to take away is just strange. I grew up in an extremely poor family, but I don't think there was every a time when I could not scrape together $1,000 for something so important as a bond. This is an example of somebody who has spent his entire life burning bridges, so he has NOBODY to help. In contrast, most good people spend their lives building relationships and helping other people; when good people need help, they usually have friends to pitch in.

Judge Simpson must have made it big time after seeing a dedicated hater account. Luckily, there are dozens and dozens of crying women he had sent to jail. So, that's a clear lie. As for landlord thing. I talked to few here, and it turned out the people who are criticising have very little understanding of laws. My guess is they got into landlord to get easy money, and had losses. So, they are here spreading their bitterness. They are just as critical of Judge Middleton and others as it's personal.
