you remind me of my old self as i used to think the same bro because i never thought. If i may share my understanding. its all about respecting or giving importance to everyone's rights. Having peaceful atmosphere is every one's right in the society. If through my any action i violate someone else right, i cannot say i am right in my action by defending it with a point like its my choice and my right to do whatever i want. For e.g i smoke. i cannot smoke in public place where there is a crowd because i will be violating other people's right who are non smokers. They will be agitated and coughing if my smoke hit their face. So i will be wrong smoking in crowds or near any non smoker. Likewise if i got a 3 inch exhaust shooting flames in my garage and a loud car i take out of my garage and it disturbs another human being next neighbour who is having a peaceful sleep or a infant baby is asleep in their house which parents put to sleep and i woke them up because of my car, i violated their right. I will be wrong here. But if i say they are karen and jealous of my ride, its my ride i bought from my money and its my house, i am being selfish and an ashol and i dont even see it coz our self is blind. Here if i am the old man passing by on the street and my old wife got scared or even could have a heart attack because of deafening loud backfires as gunsghots from the supra, i would bring a gun and shoot the supra guy and everyone who is doing that. why?? someone violated my right. If you wana understand whats right and wrong in a situation always assume yourself in that person's shoes and see things from his perspective first and you will see how wrong you are in life everywhere. Logic.

I understand if this was a daily occurence like your example of the loud car with neighbours being annoyed. But i am guessing that the meet is maybe a monthly thing. So it isnt like the 'karen' is listening to the cars everyday. They happened to be next to the meet, and could have chosen to walk away or move, but he instead decided to stay and 'offend' or 'violate' the drivers rights.

i had an experience like this and the guy called the cops. I told the officer what happened and the guy admitted to coming into the road to block me. The cop gave him a ticket for impeding traffic lol. Was one of the most satisfying days of my life lol.

To be fair, some drivers did misbehave and they did illegal stuff, like burnouts and hard accelerations on the public road. But I dont understand them anyway. They wont achieve anything. They wont convince anybody with their behavior. Also they are blocking the road for all the other innocent people, too. So you would get a ticket from a police officer in the UK if he would see this. Also the burnouts and the loud engine revings are illegal, too. This rule applies in many countries. In Germany for example, not only they could impound your car, but also your phone, because they consider it an illegal race. Even if only you are participating in this race (too gain fast acceleration speeds). Not to mention the very strict rules in Switzerland. So, no... I dont understand what you mean. It IS illegal. There's a lot of them, but the funny thing is that a lot of the drivers are actually moms/grandmas. Not a lot of younger guys go for anything other than cheap, clapped out mustangs. There's such a lack of variety that I get excited when I see a nice looking audi... I've never seen a supra (of any generation) in person before, and I've MAYBE seen 5 different r35s my whole life...

Car meets are pretty much only classics and youngtimers, tuner here are just bmw e46, civics, and sometimes audi a4. Rally is the most interesting event, as there are some great moded cars like 350z (yeah someone is driving 350z on rally), audi quattro, or some older porsche. Also you can ocassionally see corvette c5, newer are to expensive. The most interesting car is i think mercedes e65 amg with modded exaust that sound beautiful

its called 2step. its a rev limiter that cuts ignition instead of fuel. wihich causes unburnt fuel to enter the exhaust and combust which causes a increase in turbo speed thus boost. drag cars do the same thing. it builds boost faster than just trying to free rev.
