@Denis.-1 The Karen”? Lol.. When did a pretty name come off as a replacement of a degrading insult? You’re calling her “the Bitch”? A woman’s name that’s been around for a very long time. Why are you helping to ruin a pretty name? Would you like your mom or your sister or grandmother to be called, “Karen”? I really feel bad for a the women already named Karen, they definitely don’t deserve their given name the day they were born, to now be a cruel insult. It all started out from, “She looks like a Karen”. That’s pretty much it, no indication of using it as a mean insult. How did it go from that to calling women insulting names? I guess no one can be mad or get angry in public when they have a good excuse even though it’s not aimed at you, so guys like you can be one of those followers and think it’s ok to hurt someone else. How would you like someone using your name, “They’re being a Denis”! “You’re such a Denis”! “The Denis”. It won’t be a compliment that’s for sure! Lol 😂 😂

There is a guy in the USA that was doing a job for an elderly disabled man and a neighbor named Karen complained that he was making too much noise and keeping the baby awake. The place where I grew up it had semis going up and down the street because a milk plant was at the end of the street. You couldn't tell them to be quiet just because there was a baby near by or a day sleeper there. They just had to learn to sleep with the noise
@robertshrewsbury50679 ай бұрын
You tackled a big job. The degree that the grass overgrew the front walkway worried me, in that that indicates years of undoable mowing, and a case of, "Why did no one step in to help?" The lady across the street wanted to complain about a cleanup being needing to be done, but where has she been?? Glad you worked on this before the growth cycle shifted to Spring Hyperactive. 15:31, the change is started, the grass appearance beginning to blend in to the rest of the cared-for lawns. While you are string trimming growth, it isn't just trimming but going through layer after layer of matted growth. By the time you had "found the ground level", you've done a LOT. There was a fair amount of Landscape Archeology, the rock lined planting beds weren't visible at the start, you refound the front walkway and re-edged the lawn areas. As a basic repair, the yard is again navigable, the front door safely accessible, space usable. Thank you for all you got done.

According to the NSW Government website, noise from Lawn mowing is allowed during the following windows: * 8am to 8pm on Sundays and public holidays * 7am to 8pm on any other day Power tool noise on a residential property that can be heard in neighbouring residences needs to cease outside of these times. If the noise continues after an enforcement officer or the council has given you a warning, you may be charged with an offence.

You handled that very well by being polite, but especially by giving her a length of time (2 more hours) that she can expect noise. When people can't control something they don't like, it really helps for them to have an idea of when that something will end. She may not realize why, but she may feel friendlier towards you because you said that. Moreover, she might approach the next person making noise, or whatever, in a friendlier way also. For about 6 months we had construction being done in our neighborhood. Monday thru Saturday starting around 8 am. The trucks would arrive Beep Beep Beep, the workmen never started before 9 am but they prepared what they could. Then there was the massive noise of chatter, equipment, music more trucks ect. I have a hard time sleeping and usually do not fall asleep befor 6 am. I hit rem sleep around 8 am. So the noise yanks me out of a hard sleep. Which many times gives me a really bad headache. I make sure every night to close and lock windows, I run my fan on High and I have a white noise of rain and light thunder. ( too hard thunder causes a headache). All this woman needed to do for a couple of days is close her windows and play some music to drown out the equipment. The reward of seeing the finished lawn across the street would have made it very worth it. Don't let people like this neighbor deter you from what you do. I can say if she was afraid of someone cleaning up the property and waking her, she could have cleaned it herself on her schedule.
