i love how they didn't interact with this guy. he didn't deserve any attention but the fact that ppl were laughing at him was great.

I love that the best offense against this jerk was just walking away and silently laughing at him. You KNOW he wanted a fight to make himself look like the victim.

So as a Christian I am automatically a danger to my child? Please spread love not hate. Discrimination against religion isn't chill.

@@knory123 ofc. youre kidding me? if you believe in religion youre a danger for people around you. especially your kids.
@AnnaCurser3 ай бұрын
@@Shady_Guyy not murdered them yet. but you feel the need to punish them and teach them "traditional family values". if you dont do that, then youre not christian at all, so you might as well not wear that label and not believe in a system that is made and founded to exploit and control people.

@@knory123 discrimination? you call it discrimination? theres no such thing against religion. any religion, and christians the least, Never has to defend against anything, they are the elite and the standard and can do whatever they want. No government will Ever ban or dismantel the church. you cannot discriminate christians. but people will always need to defend against christians. they are always aggressive, always loud and never the wiser. its a shameful thing to be.

We are not all like that man. That same weekend i was in a pride parade in another Swedish town walking with the Swedish church who was one of the top sponsors of our pride festival. Our banners said “störst av allt är kärleken” which translates to ‘and biggest of all is love’ which is a passage from the bible. Love is love and most christians support the LGBTQIA+ community!

I myself go to a theater school and you can guess that a lot of us pride folk are there but in the city there is this one religious guy who goes around with a trailor full of like "redeem yourself" and "find jesus" and for some reason he stood outside our school building for a while.

Shame nobody told this guy that if we don't sin, Jesus died for nothing! Jokes aside, as an agnostic and lapsed Catholic, I hate that people weaponize their religion as an excuse to hate others.
@shannonwalls75733 ай бұрын
Ummm...protesting Christian fella: Jesus never said anything about LGBTQIA+ folks. I obviously can't be as eloquent about this as the pastor at my church (who is gay, BTW), who has a Masters of Divinity. Pretty sure though, Jesus didn't spread hate. He was too busy talking about acceptance, community, love and charity. Try to learn from Him, dude.

I love how you brought up and shamed Just Stop Oil too. People keep using the argument of "it gets people talking!" as if they think people are having deep conversations like "Oh wow! They through an afternoon lunch at the Mona Lisa! They must really care about their cause! I should join them" when in reality it's more like "These people are insane and I want nothing to do with them or their cause" It's the logic of negative publicity is still publicity. When that only works when all you want is fame and fortune. If you're news reporters, celebrities or influencers who only care about the numbers that's perfect for them. But when you're actually trying to make a difference and bring attention to a problem all that does is make more enemies. Much like what this guy is doing.

I never understand how people try and weaponise the cross and the bible. Like that shit only applies to you if uou are another believer of christ or follower of christ. Outside of that, other people of that religion should know it is not your place to judge.

Ok, i know noone wants to hear my opinion(s), but ima say it anyways. Also some good context: im an autistic, bisexual, right wing-ish, Christian. So idk if that helps with you understanding my mindset. The whole "think of the children" thing is correct, but WAYYYY overdone. I think sexuality isnt a thing a child should be worrying about. Now im not saying they shouldn't attend pride or anything like that, its a parade, let your child have fun jesus. But i dont think we should be trying to force a sexual agenda onto children, let them find it out for themselves when the time comes. I dont care if my kid becomes gay, straight, or trans. What i do care about is my child exposure to sexual stuff. Like pole dancing is a big one im still trying to figure out my opinion on. Again, my child can have crushes on boys or girls idc, i just want my kiddo to worry about what legos fit together, not who they fit together with. I suck at explaining my actual opinion, i prolly said something wrong idk. If you wanna discuss in the replies feel free, i just dont want to fight. Im completely fine with you disagreeing, id love to see other opinions. No hate, just freindly banter.
