We rounded up the angry ram & cut his fleece off so he doesn't get too hot over summer, I don't think he liked the style ....

Pretty sure that ram has fly. Notice the rotted hair next to the crease where his hind leg and abdomen touch. That may be caused by fly larvae. It is incredibly irritating, and the flies are variety of the "irritans" species. The irritant, of course, makes the animal very angry, at times, and it might do things it would not otherwise do, considering its natural disposition. We worked with flies of this sort at the agricultural laboratory, and I allowed myself to be infected to see what could be done. Very hard to treat; systemic parasite controls are probably the only thing that would work, and you have to consider the residues they may leave in the meat. However, if you do control fly, the animals are much happier, gain weight faster, and their naturally good dispositions may be evident.

+Derna1804 Dogs and cats have fur not wool. Mankind has created the domesticated sheep to produce more wool and the way of doing that is by making it not shed( almost like hair ). Wild sheep shed very little everyday way less than fur but just enough to not overwhelm it's body with weight and heat. So the mutated sheep must be sheered or will most likely kill it's self with wool. Of course for it to die it would have to be a few years of not being sheered.
