Angry Ram gets attacked by a pack of dogs

I heard some dogs attacking Rambro and his family down the hill, by the time I got there they had scattered in the undergrowth, from what I can make out he's lost a horn defending himself and his family.

Man Rambro is a real trooper and you're a cool guy to be able to put up with his aggressive behavior so well! I also have to point out that watching you ride your motorcycle through the woods there was really pleasing to watch, especially how you had mounted your camera. If I could, and I would if I could, I would come up there with a few posts and some fencing and help you pound a few posts into the ground or something to keep those dogs out.

Poor Rambro. I'm glad he's mostly ok. I have a feeling he's going to be freaked out for a while. Is there a chance his horn will grow back? He's going to be pretty vulnerable with only one horn. Is it possible for you to take him to a veterinarian to have him checked out & make sure he's ok? Even if a vet can't do anything about the lost horn he/she can still make sure Rambro doesn't have any internal injuries. On another note maybe it would be a good idea to have your property completely fenced in so that dogs can't get to Rambro & his family anymore. This is the 2nd time (I'm assuming) that dogs have attacked Rambro & family. If there's a 3rd time he/they might not be so lucky.

Lizfan2 I had a good look at him & he's fine, no puncture wounds. Not much a vet could do except provide entertainment while running from an angry ram. I have a small fenced area I leave the sheep in while I'm away but not enough feed to leave them there full time, unfortunately the cost of dog proof fencing an area big enough would be prohibitive - $200,000 at a guess.

I'm so glad he's ok!! Keep an eye on him, just in case any wounds that he may have suffered don't get infected. Maybe you can ask a vet to give you a prescription for antibiotics so you can break a pill or two up and put them in/on some fruit that you can feed him.
