Can't wait to play this. As a kid, I played the Commando and Desperado games with my father. We would play for hours on end together trying to perfect every level together. I remember as his cigarettes would burn out because dad would be so laser-focused on these games. Especially Commando 2. He passed in late november 2022, and I've been replaying these games thinking of him. He would have loved this one.

Desperados 3 was great, this looks like more but improved and a more entertaining art style and vibe. Definitely will play this one but itbseems like one a lot of people will skip given all the huge titles dropping which means this will most likely get big sales discounts notnlong after release, ill grab on one of said sales.

Always a fan of these devs and their games, despite not being super keen on the genre. Game looks fantastic, especially if viewed as a game of chess as you put it. This month and the next way too packed with games though so this one will have to wait a little but looking forward to it :)

Finally a pirates game that actually looks exciting and exactly how I wanted it, I love the pirates/fantasy theme and was craving a game like this forever where the pirates are not realistic but its more undead and witcjes and sea monsters and magical treasures and curses. This game looks so good.

Mimimi definitely has a formula, but it's honed to perfection. I don't mind more of the same with a pirate skin on it. Looking forward to this. Edit: Hang on a sec. ACG at one point refers to not having "any saves left." Is there some limit on saves now? In the previous games you were literally reminded to relentlessly save-scum every 30 seconds.

Yeah I definitely agree with the level design, it's so busy it's actually hard to see what your doing sometimes, but it is really beautiful to look at. I also immediately noticed the presentation really being upped. The only problem is it kinda feels like a mobile game with all the buttons on the screen, and thank God you can cntrl+click instead of doing that annoying button hold. It's got a couple issues but games in this genre don't usually get this level of polish, and more importantly it's just a fun game. Anyway there's your comment, and I've already been subbed for years 🤘
