i haven't finished the video yet so i don't know if you realise this yourself, but your point about kitakami being in johto actually makes alot of sense. kitakami has alot of traditional japanese elements, just like johto. ogerpon, while she's referred to as an ogre, might not actually be based on an ogre. this is just a theory i've came up with myself, but i think ogerpon is based on an oni, a type of yokai that is quite similar to an ogre. this makes more sense when you consider her den is on oni mountain. ogerpon may also be based on a menreiki. i don't actually know much about menreiki outside of hata no kokoro from touhou, but menreiki are a type of tsukumogami (a mythical japanese yokai that's born from a non-sentient object) that are born from masks. anyways, the johto thing aside, this is the first video i've watched from you, and it's really good! have a like and a subscribe.
