The fight scene was genuinely one of the most well-directed hand-to-hand fight scenes up there with the Kingsman Church scene and John Wick. I'd say the environment was the most boring part, being an open field. But the creativity in the choreography mostly made up for it, crazy.

It's the only series where I never once skipped the intro. James Gunn seems to be one of those directors that likes to treat adults like adults, and it shows with his work in the DCEU, especially in Peacemaker. If WB made more shows like this, I would enjoy the DCEU more. What we sadly lack in these superhero universes, with the exception of Netflix which got it right with their take on the MCU stuff, are adult movies and television series. It seems like everyone forgets that comic books have been around forever, and the adults that watch this stuff were kids once who enjoyed it, and that not everything needs to be made for children. The Disney MCU is sadly lacking any adult content. Star Wars as much as I like it is about as kid friendly as you can get, and I wish we could get a show where cutting through someone with a light saber rips their guts out, and causes blood to fly everywhere. The MCU is able to produce these huge blockbuster mega movies and series that while well acted and packed with a lot of action and fun are sorely lacking in the content that adults crave in their viewing habits. I am an adult male, I like seeing naked women in my movies and shows, I like hearing F-Bombs, and I enjoy seeing a guy explode into a million pieces. Peacemaker was able to make me feel like a kid at the same time fulfilling my desire for content as an adult. I want more of it. I want it from DC, and I want it from the MCU as well. I miss those Netflix shows, I miss Punisher and Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Hopefully James Gunn is given the reins to do some interesting stuff over at DC.

God, please don't refer to that channel again. Ever since their patronizing video to constructively critical fans about TLOU Pt.2, I don't ever want hear about them again. Worse yet, their video about a crazy TLOU2 fan/anti-fan sending death threats were mostly lies. Not the death threat part, but everything after that because they're clout chasers that want pity points and views. Some viewers that did research on both sides including myself called them out with evidence but those dipsticks kept deleting comments so they wouldn't be exposed. After the ProJared incident, I'm not taking any sides until I see evidence and statements from both sides. TLOU2 reddit page posted enough evidence to completely contradict everything other than the death threat. They still don't know if the one who sent the threat is a TLOU2 stan that wants that subreddit to burn or a crazy hater. At least Angry Joe and his crew still have some self-respect and integrity.

Peacemaker is a textbook example of how to do edgy superhero shows the right way. Nothing about it seemed like it was trying too hard to be startling. Contrast this to Titans, where they try everything in their power to make PG characters appear as if they are adult, and it just comes across as cheesy.

This show was amazing and one of the best things that dceu has done hopefully more things like this come in the future. @@roxtechs Its just my observation. When writing for a well established character like Superman you usually are pretty restricted to sticking to certain character traits and lore. You can't deviate too much from the source or you may face a lot of backlash. Unknown characters allows Gunn to really just make stuff up and have alot of fun because nobody really cares or knows about the source material.

I really liked the show and I was excited to see the new episode every week, the only thing that I thing was too much was what I call the "having a whole argument about an unimportant little thing" joke. Too many of those. Those jokes were funny 15 years ago when it was the "new trope" in apatow movies and the actors had a fun improv moment. Then everybody started doing it and it got old real fast. "It's funny because they're bantering in a serious situation!". Yeah, ok, have a couple of those. This show had a couple of those... IN EVERY SCENE.

One of the weaknesses of the last episode was how the butterflies were so easy to kill, in comparison to the first one at the beginning of the season. Was there an explanation for the ease of the kills? Or plot convenience?

The reason Peacemaker got his ass beat was one, he was almost naked and two he didn’t have a gun nor didn’t know he could’ve just stabbed her in the head or heart to kill the body (from what I understand if you kill the body the butterfly has to come out)

There's plenty more food for Goff, Peacemaker has already been stealing jar after jar for her. It may be harder now since his mission is over though, but I doubt it. There was tons left over from the factory and the ranch both. Barrels and barrels of it. The end does not signify Goff's death, just the end of the source....currently. They could also bring another cow.

The fact that James Gunns DC outings have been some of the best dc content makes me so exited for James Gunn running DC Studios. He understands the characters so well. With Henry Cavill back and hopefully Ben Affleck too i’m so exited for the future of DC and Peacemaker season 2 seems to be just around the corner so i’m very exited for that.

Great show. Great mix of dark and edgy DC style with enough heart and comedy to keep it from being gloomy and depressing. Maybe DC will finally wake up and start developing more of their characters. Take the hint from Marvel ‘s success and stop rebooting Batman and Superman again, and again, and again…. Also, first show where I’ve watched the opening every time. The song is catchy with great energy and the dance is goofy as hell, but they do it so deadpan serious. “Dear DC, please keep heading in this direction.”

This goes to show you that Zach Snyder was the worst thing the WB could ever do to the DC Universe! He can shoot a pretty scene, but he doesn't have an ounce of talent for telling captivating stories and showing character growth like James Gunn, David F. Sandberg or James Wan. All of these directors have proved that you can make good DC movies and now television shows > also fuck Titans... what is wrong with the characters in that show! Sorry for anybody that's a fan of Patty Jenkins, but she kind of said the quiet part loud when talking about how she went about directing WW84 which was mostly a mess.

Goth said human food would sustain them but that liquid is what they eat. Plus Goth could easily take over someone else again. They didn't kill all the Butterflies and they said they had a hideout in Main. They were also moving the supplies of food Peacemaker didn't destroy what was in the trucks. At the time of shooting this scene with the JL, Henry was under a 2 year contract so he could not show his face anywhere. Cyborg is out of the role so he wasn’t there and wonder women probably wasn’t able to due to Gal. Aquaman and Flash could easily joke around with the characters so it made sense to have them in costume.
