I was walking along minding my own business when i saw a green army man lying on the sidewalk!I took it home for my collection.it looks like a soldier from the Viet Nam War with a soft boonie hat gesturing for his troops to follow his lead while carrying a sub machine gun in his right hand.A bold leader likely a senior nco.

This guy with good quality molds Meanwhile me with my dollar store knockoffs: 😐 When ever I watch these guys who live in Europe or somewhere not near America, I always wish there was a way to donate soldiers, because here it’s easy to get kinda decent quality soldiers

Great collection! I love Marx from the 1960s-1970s WWII. That is what I grew up with, but the more I look at others, the more collections I want! They all have something worth looking at!

Those modern green soldiers you asked about are from a play dirt special forces bucket. Includes: 8 green men, 8 tan men, two decorative rocks and 1.5 lb of dirt.😀👍

At least that's where I got my own of those poses...maybe it could've originated somewhere else...idk.

Nice collection and nice video! I noticed one lone French sailor figure standing in front of your BMC Civil War. It's a copy of a French Starlux-brand figure, which I think were originally done in painted hard plastic. Unfortunately they have never been reissued in unpainted soft plastic, but I think they should be. There is a lack of navy figures out there. That's one of the problems we have in the toy soldier hobby these days; too much "hit or miss" and too many "here today/gone tomorrow" "fly-by-night" operations. For example the Glencoe Models Co. you mentioned WAS making great copies of the Marx marines, but I believe they are no longer in business (?). That's what I'm talking about. We could use a little more stability in the hobby. Also.here in the U.S.,we don't get a lot of the stuff available in the Spanish world. An example of this is the "Gulliver" brand, which makes some really nice and unusual stuff. Another example; A guy in Mexico City sent me a photo of some Lido G.I. copies done in banana-yellow and cranberry-red. Why don't we see those up here? Are the U.S. businesses afraid of competition?

This business is not stable but thank God its still on, not many companies left.

@@Angrytroopershow hey. Are you willing to sell me the marine soldiers that you didn't have the name of. I really liked them and I am collecting army men to. I tried to find them but I had no luck. But if you aren't then that's fine I guess. Hope you get this.

P.S. I did some checking online and apparently Glencoe Models IS still in business, and according to their website they still make the Marx Marines. However, the vendors I usually buy from, such as Michigan Toy Soldiers and Classic Toy Soldiers, are not carrying them for some strange reason, and the Glencoe website offers no way of ordering direct. Too bad,but BMC is also doing the Marx Marines and in a better selection of colors including gray and blue!

You're missing the original Timmy Toys WW2 1960's army men. The Medic crew with the nurse and Dog. 2 medics with stretcher and injured soldier. Those are the classic ones from early 60's. I see you have some Timmy army men that are vietnam era soldiers .
