(RE: 2:38) Ricochet also carries over Vampire's effect when it triggers which makes standing still with a vampire's heavy gun with Ricochet and shooting only one bullet every 6 seconds for Bullet Shield already makes you basically invulnerable in most regular content (either in Power Armor or with a regular set of armor that's set up for proper tanking). I just don't believe that Ricochet was ever intended to be this powerful or useful lol

I have a full set of OE union power armor and can easily die with a vampire's heavy gun using ricochet and bullet shield. I have died while firing my Vampire Gatling Plasma with those 2 perks several times. If the server lags, I die.

Just came across the fact that Furious, 40% PA damage, + 3 STR and Pounders and no mod on the Auto Axe itself does more damage than having Anti Armour on the first star

Furious is 100% the way to go. Anti armour does nothing for melee if you have incisor perk at max level because of the anti armour cap

I prefer this method with troubleshooters PA and holding a heavy rocket sledgehammer. It also has the cripple chance but has to rely on deflect. At least you don’t have to worry about making the jump 😅

Not everyone has the heavy rocket mod for the super sledge. In fact, it's quite rare. A baseball bat with the spiked mod is the exact same.

@@RealisticRobot Oh, interesting. I scrapped more of those box mods that I can count, didn't know they were rare. I had bunch of them at one point - specifically the heavy rocket super sledge boxes. (I had a bad habit of just throwing every mod box into my stash saying "Might want it later" or "I'll look at it later.", then never really doing anything with them. I had ballpark 300lbs in just standard box mods. Needing to make room for legendary box mods, I scrapped them all. Edit: With the exception of Enclave laser pistol mods - Those still never get scrapped.

I love Black Powder weapons, however I experience a bug when I use them now. When I fire one (any of them, Dragon or regular, havent tested the pistol), and I switch to another weapon, the second weapon wont fire. Its not because the BP needs to be reloaded, because even if I reload and then switch, it still wont fire. I usually have to switch back and forth a few times before it will fire. It completely ruins the weapon because switching to an alt is necessary.

First I did this boss "normaly". Then, I started to use ricochet and bullet shield, and after that the autoaxe to bot's HP, and was able to do it in 2 stages I think. Then I got pounders, and after ricochete and bullet shield, wiped him in less then 10 seconds, with the furious+power attack+strength+pounders autoaxe. Then I saw a vid and changed my stored Vampire autoaxe, to be exactly as the other one, but without electrified or any mod, with it I kill the shield behind the bot till he gets on position, change to the other autoaxe and melt it as usual. I still have to see this vid, and for sure it will be great as usual and very funny as it seems, but even if this method is a second faster, which it isnt cause I kill the shield till the bot gets on position, I will not follow it...unless I get to a point where Im so sick of farming the poor bot, that I want to experiment different ways to do it...

Oh this is gonna be changed.. they wouldn't let us have the Oathbreaker be an Anti-Armor Swing Speed and made it Suppressors Power Attack Damage and they wouldn't let us have a Bloodied Explosive Railway Rifle from the Map Expansion. Yes, they haven't thought about the interaction and coded them to use the same type of stacks so they add up. Having Furious + Pounders gives you 109 stacks on top of that Pounders is bugged and gives 10% damage per stack instead of 1%, so you have 109 stacks of 15% damage for a total of +1635% damage with both effects. I'm pretty sure this will get fixed next patch.

I would say using a heavy weapon to trigger Bullet Shield and then switching to a sledgehammer, baseball bat or golf club modded with 15% armor piercing, +25% limb damage and 20% cripple chance, then Anti-Armor / +50% limb damage / +3 Luck as legendary effects and Twisted Muscles mutation to increase cripple chance further is still faster most of the time. The reflected damage can take out the shield instantly when a cripple triggers.

So, even better: Since the 20% cripple chance carries over from Ricochet - You basically stand there holding the Dragon with a Ricochet build in Power Armor and let the Guardian destroy it's own shield - it's way quicker and no reloading or weapon swapping or even ammo is needed. Just a few stims per encounter. THEN jump on the thing with a Furious + Pounders Autoaxe - the combo is broken right now and you will destroy the Guardian's health in seconds. Rinse and repeat! 🤣Also, you can very much abuse "while reloading" effects with the Dragon - the reload is so long, and you can cancel it easily...

Definitely fun looking, but not the fastest method. Press the red button, jump behind the guardian, crouch and aim for his back. As he rises up, you want to hit his fusion cores with the auto axe (must have furious, heavy hitter and pounder mods), you want to see the white “0” damage numbers with the flashing shield, not yellow numbers. You MUST be in first person. Before he fully rises up and starts shooting his shield will already be down, then switch to 3rd and finish him off. Fastest I can do it is 0:37 on the raid timer, about 17 seconds from when I start to attack. Because of the angle required, use PA. No particular legendary armor effects necessary. No bullet shield, no ricochet because he wont even get a chance to fire

@ hey I forgot, don’t have any mods on your auto axe like electrified or fire, just run it plain. I think its because robots are have strong resistance to electricity, or just immune to it so you would be wasting damage output. And I don’t think its necessary but try it low health with adrenal reaction. Still furious on the axe though

There is some major differences with PC and consoles, you look like you get to shoot 4 times with the dragon but on Ps4 it is only 1 shot with 4 bullets. Exact opposite. Some parity. With quad, all that does is send 5 projectiles with the dragon.

Yes it can, like any other mod...I got very lucky and got it after 10 to 20 times...only got another after at least a week...I think it has the same chance to drop as other mods, but not sure. But you can get everything on first bot, other than the specific new weapons and a couple of specific plans (not the Vulcan ones)

I mean this is fun but by far the fastest way to farm the guardian currently (but will be patched next update) is by getting rid of its shield with a furious pounders auto axe with NO MODS you cant have any mods on it, no flaming, electrified, poison, none, but with a good build and some easy buffs it removes the shield before he can even fire, you just attack the generator on its back as its spawning.

Can everyone hit them with request for an account storage accessible by all your characters so you have a place to drop weight and store items of value or that might fit another character better. Don't want to use my storage for vendors, decorations, etc then I can't drop my heavy guns or im overweight not enough space. At least 100 side quests on the map for more content, all fallout games have a good amount of quests that really fill out the game and is a big part of what 76 is missing then we need more maps so it doesn't get stale playing add the same amount of quests, bosses and raids to the new maps. It's a lot of work but it's what this game should of had in the release...... Last they went into our inventory's and took our explosive 2 star roll off our guns for their mistakes, I still have mine idk who else has theirs but the should go back in and fix them now that they changed and re added the explosive 2 star roll.

This is not a great way to take down the shield as it prioritizes phase 1 damage over phase 2 damage. It's far simpler to just go in with a 2H melee weapon that has limb damage and innate chance to cripple and just stand next to him as he kills his own shield. Then you swap to your Auto Axe and grind him down. Yes, this means wearing Troubleshooter gear of some sort, but I can kill him now in about 40 seconds if it's just me in there. One time I got him in 37 seconds. Pounders helps a lot, but putting the Poisoning mod on the Auto Axe also juiced the damage.
