What’s interesting about working with Angus, in his own home, is that he has a set of behaviours he has already learned in this room. His walking back to bed and laying with his head on the ground is already behaviours that have been reinforced and are now existing neural pathways. When he is confused or stressed by not being given instruction, Angus reverts to doing things he thinks has a high probability of reinforcement (behavioural economics.) By giving him time to figure it out, and moving between actions he is likely to copy and then more harder ones, I can help him problem solve.
