my first AEG was a CYMA M14 just like yours except the full length barreled version, bought it 4 years ago and its still shooting fine today :D

I understand why you don't like pistols much, but I love to use them. My favorite is a GBB special edition M1911 that I got back in 2011 for the M1911's 100 year anniversary. The gun just suits me very well as I am a very long slender person, like the gun and it fits in my hands like a dream. Because it's a pistol, I also get supremely quick sight acquisition which really helps out with my sort of "playing style" of sprinting around and storming my targets (I don't do CQB, I take my pistols into the field). I don't know how you play, but pistols work really well for me and my fast paced way of playing and I think you should try giving them a shot. That's just my opinion though, I don't really play seriously, I do it a lot more to have fun and challenge myself in a silly way; you might be more of the hardcore conquer your enemies type for all I know.

One of my friend's has that ICS L86. It was his first gun and it works great. I got a chance to use it, and it is very unique. About 3 or 4 months ago he lost the L86. He couldn't find it anywhere, and we wondered how you lose a gun that big. A few weeks ago he found lying in a wooded area nearby where we airsofted before. It had been home to several bugs, and months of rain had fallen on it. Despite this, very little of it had rusted and it was actually easy to fix. That shows how reliable this gun can be.

Beautiful collection. I like scoutthdoggie's vids. And I wouldn't have known that you custom painted that sniper. I will say though, that as much as I FRACKIN LOVE air soft, I do think it's a tad rediculus how much we have to pay for a decent gun. Although, the last two guns are totally worth the price you might have paid. :3

It is the military version of the Prohibition era Thompson since it has the bolt on the side of the receiver.

granted, its been 2 years since you made this video, but out of past experience in painting airsoft guns, throwing lines of black help break up woodland camos, and in general makes it look more agressive. it also can be turned into a crude 4-color tiger stripe camo, which i roll on my M-60E1 vietnam loadout

I have the same Mac 11, if you dissemble it on the upper receiver there is a silver cylinder by the breach. That silver tube goes into another, try to push it in with your finger also check for a bend in the tube. If either of those happened send it out to be pissed.

No. The Thompson I have is the military version of the 1928 model, as shown by the bolt on the side of the replica as opposed to being on the top. Although, the standard M1A1 is more widely known, the 1928 was also used.

No. The 1928 model shown in the video is based off the military version, seeing as how the bolt is located on the side of the reciever which is not the case for the prohibition era.
