Angus Deayton - Sitcom Spotlight

Angus Deayton is one of those people who has held down an acting career spanning four decades without any discernible acting talent. But then he pops up in something and he does a great job and I think I like him. What a mysterious man.

I saw Rowan Atkinson live once and Angus was his straight guy. Interesting that they kept up an association through sitcom (is Mr Bean a sitcom? I suppose it is). Although my favourite work of his was probably The Hee Bee Gee Bees.

Apparently they were good friends in real life, as was Angus and Richard Wilson!
