I used to work in a posh little boutique. One of the silliest things we sold were bits of paper with trite inspirational messages tied to a seashell and hanging from a string. Expensive and one of our best selling objects. Sold several dozen every day. People are stupid.

It's underrated because the bloody BBC has never really liked Harry Enfield because he's not pc enough for them. So they put Harry & Paul on at 9.30 on BBC2, therefore few people saw it.

I remember Harry Enfield as being briefly popular having one of those catch phrase laden shows from the late 90s. The characters were fun but didn't have enough depth for multiple seasons. But he was always very talented. This sort of thing is much better.

I remember Balham, Clapham South / Common way mid 90s into the 00s when property trebled overnight. Knew some guys that opened such shops and the fortunes they made in a year was fantastic (back then, rent was pretty reasonable still). It was a case of seeing this social type coming and taking full advantage. I worked in Balham leisure center and they were forever doing aerobics. Really nice bubbly people to know, but feckin airheads; bless 'em. Bonus if you saw them in the pub. Pretty much a 50% off evening.
