2024 08 11 3rd Portimao GT1 Nissan GTR

I blew $5 on a GT1 car - 2011 Nissan GTR, 650hp 5.6L V8
I decided to step up to GT1 which is way less forgiving but drive a bit more like a real racecar than GT3 cars.
So my first GT1 race was a 20 minute sprint at Portimao this morning. After only a 1/2 hour to setup and qualify, I got it reasonably drive-able and snagged pole. It was a pretty competitive field with Ford GT's, Saleen S7R's, Koenigsegg CCGT's, Porsche RUF CTR3's and 2nd place kept pushing me hard which gave us a decent gap to P3. I made a couple of mistakes and got blocked by a lapped car later in the race that netted me a P3 finish.
