Exclusive interview with Andy McCluskey from Orchestral Manoeuvres in the dark.
The interview was done on the 23rd September 2014 and was first shown at the 2014 OMD Fan Event.
A limited number of just 60 DVDs were also produced with each person at the part getting one, and the leftovers being auctioned to raise money for the Marie Curie Charity.
A unusual interview, with question from fans attending the party, and some very interesting answers from Andy McCluskey.

I would have thought the biggest live audience was the GLC Jobs For A Change Festival in July 1985 @ Battersea Park. I was there...huge audience.

The choice of main Single off Pacific Age bemused me . Why was Stay ( 1st song of it ) not released as the Main single . Yet they issued " Shame " ( apt title ) Not the best choice in my eyes ! Who makes these Choices ??

Very good interview, well done. Good questions. But could anybody ask for the lyrics of "Navigation". It´s in my top20 Best Songs Ever, since 25 years, although i do NOT understand 90%. Looking in the web, people seem to have a completely different song. Sorry, I´m only german...

The condemnation that awaits the experimenter or who has a recognizable "hallmark" when he changes his approach to composition and lets himself be tempted by pop success is to lose loyal fans and rely on distracted fans who change their minds quickly. OMD the first 3 albums are perfect, then the end.
