Lockdown had lifted again so we thought we would try and get a camping trip in. Let's just say it didn't go well.
I produce videos on a bunch of topics from bees to prospecting and a stack of stuff in between but many of them show off the use of traditional vintage tools. If you see a tool that you would like for your own I probably won't sell you mine but I may have another in stock or I can get one from France, Germany, Japan or wherever. I make little bit of money from selling tools but mostly I just like to share them and share how to use them.
My other Channels
Mad Scientist Prospecting / @madscientistprospecting
Chestnut_nag's tools from Japan

My ebay store

If you like what we do maybe you could show your appreciation.

You made the right call mate , anxiety is a fight or flight thing as you know . When you have all the other responsibilities and trying to do what you think is right for everyone to go camping your subconscious has realised the right thing to do is go where you know it is safe . Even though anxiety is a debilitating thing , I often look back at my previous decisions in life and think if it wasn’t for my anxiety I probably would have made the wrong decision , the struggle is trying to deal with it in a healthy way …… luckily for you there is the support of those around you who understand .

Mate...so sorry that you are feeling this way. Unfortunately this is not going away even with the fully vaccinated everywhere. World developments are proving this just look at Singapore and Israel with high vac rates and yet they have increasing COVID infections and deaths. The vaccines don’t seem to work for long. Don’t feel bad about your decision to isolate yourself. We all have to find a way to live with this. Stay safe and look after your family.

Yeah I know. At least another 2 years I reckon but vaccine vastly reduces risks reduces severity. Once we get to 80% and start opening up its going to be ugly and there will need to be ongoing restrictions so that hospitals don't get overloaded. Thing is though while hospitals might, MIGHT, not get over loaded they are going to get over exhausted.

@@StuartChignell well all I can say is this government has had 18 months to beef up the hospitals and yet they have done nothing. Even though Jenny Mikarkos was talking about adding over 4000 extra ICU. I suppose the money allocated for this just went to the Vic gov increases that they all got. Now we the people have to suffer again.

Nigel after many discussion on FB you seem willfully ignorant of some basics facts. I hope that it doesn't lead you to be careless. I hope you don't get infected. I hope that if you do get infected your lack of vaccination doesn't get you bumped off the triage.

@@StuartChignell I am quite happy with my position, having looked at the risks and the paranoia and hysteria towards Covid 19 and its variants I see the greater risk being the overreaction to it as being a greater risk than the disease
