Anima Christi - Catholic Mediaeval Prayer Song

This is a Catholic medieval prayer who has been attributed to many saints including Blessed Bernardino de Feltre, Saint Thomas Aquinas, and Saint Ignatius of Loyola.It was actually msot likely a prayer song written by pope John XXII, who according to some sources grated this prayer an indulgence of three thousand days. In the Avignon library there is a prayer book of the cardinal, Peter of Luxembourg, who died in 1387, which contains the Anima Christi in a very similar form to the current one. It has also been found in an inscription in the courtyard of the maidens of the Alcázar of Seville from the time of Pedro I of Castilla. It appears at the beginning of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, which probably contributed to the myth that the song was authored by him.
This was originally scheduled as Good Friday song, but we may have a better song for Good Friday.

SSPX are of course the best option for the preservation of the Catholic Roman Church of Christ, the study of the Verb at the school of the blessed Angelic Doctor Saint Thomas of Aquinas, the study of popes enciclics, the battle against the poison of modernism and the deep understanding of the Saintly Sacrifice on the altar. If one as no inclination towards a particular monastic order I strongly recommend SSPX for the contents and the loyalty to the Church and Crist, and for the devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God. However the most important thing is a vocation, a good determination and a benevolent and intelligent mentor who can help to discern, and this person can be found everywhere with a good luck. The path of priesthood is the most important, hard and perilous one because a priest carries on his shoulders the weight of the world and when he dies he will be judged more severily due to the responsability of all the sheeps who are assigned to him; but is also the best honor a man can achieve in his terrestrial life and beyond. I had gone to rehab and relapsed into the occult and then drugs again and had an overdose and I found God through all my pain. I found my faith by hitting my rock bottom. Everything God allows to happen is for our greater salvation. In Rehab there was only one book, The Bible and people get into the occult because they have no real understanding of the Catholic Faith. Try getting him into Catechism or RCIA, also you must attend confession and Mass regularly and pray a rosary for him every day. It is a lot of work but the only way to move forward is by trusting God with total abandon

One persecuted the other and so forth, neither is innocent in the historical sense. And its not exactly racism if theyre the same people is it? Muslims don't practice what they claim they teach either in my experience. As someone who considers himself a christian i've talked to imams and other muslims to gain an understanding, ive mostly found closed indoctrinated minds with a few exceptions here and there. I've read about pro Western/modernizational reforms after the fall of the Ottoman empire and with the rise of Mustafa Kemal/Ataturk. Adoption of the Latin alphabet and clothing etc, and ofcourse the story of Laurence of Arabia is well known in the West. However, is this only limited to the Christian Turks? Seems more like a historical issue than a religious one. But in the grand scale it makes alot more sense to me now, you have my thanks.
