Thank you Paul! Your videos have helped me change my fathers life. He was going through some really bad sciatic pain that put him completely out of work (he works construction). I had him cut out all the sugars and processed foods and I started him on a strict organic chicken and bone broth soup diet for a couple of weeks, and it literally completely healed him. He was back to hanging Sheetrock within that same month.

I've been eating a meat and fruit diet for some time now. It's unbelievable how good, almost euphoric, I feel. I keep wondering when I'll crash, as that is what I was used to. Feel good when eating a bunch of shit, then crash. But this feeling is consistent. I love it. My workouts have gone through the roof too. So much energy to exercise and I build muscle consistently and don't feel fatigued. It did need some getting used to, when transitioning from a more standard Western diet, but it is well worth it. Thanks Paul! Edit: also my mood. It has improved vastly. I am prone to depression and anxiety and although I still have my bad moments, it has improved significantly, both in lessening of frequency and intensity of the episodes.

For the anxiety and depression, consider doing meat only weeks to see if that positively impacts you, or drastically reducing the sugar intake from fruit. Some people have seen great improvements doing that

Thank you for opening my eyes Paul, I was doing keto and failing, having the same electrolyte issues and never lost a pound... I have reintroduced carbs and my glucose is fine...normal spikes and no more cramping or exhaustion. It does give you a form of insulin resistance when you go complete keto... I did it for years... I have autoimmune issues as well.. I would get rashes, painful joints and migraines and have removed various foods over the years... I eat very similar to you. So glad I can eat fruit and natural sugars again!

Yes agree, and I always wondered if we are not supposed to eat fruit or honey and only meat (stringent carnivore), why do we have or did we evolve taste buds that crave for sweet things also? I follow the carnivore diet but think we have evolved to eat seasonal fruit & honey also, otherwise we will be like say for example a lion who only craves meat?

Eat them if you're thriving. And cook the crap out of them if you're going to eat them. Honestly they're not the worst things in the world - if you swap processed foods for veggies and real, whole foods, you're winning. I only say to avoid veggies for those struggling with autoimmune issues, as I've seen so many people IMPROVE or RESOLVE their conditions through a strict elimination diet of removing vegetables...

@@Paulsaladinomd I absolutely agree here… not the worst thing in the world for the average person especially considering the poison that the average person ingests every single day. Although for others, they cause a lot of harm. For example, my mother has Crohns disease and vegetables cause her a TON of inflammation…. one time to the point where it caused her intestines to rupture leading to serious surgery and a colostomy bag for almost a year 😷

What freaks me out about honey is that it could be the most expensive Manuka honey and they can lace it with high fructose corn syrup because there is no regulation on it. Basically, unless you pay for each bottle to be tested by and independent lab, or you buy your honey from a local beekeeper you trust, you have no idea what quality of honey you’re getting.

However, the more I listen to Paul and others on what to eat and what not to eat, I can't help but think to myself all of those individuals in this world who literally live until their 80's, 90's and 100's and they know nothing about this. It makes me laugh. Food in moderation, exercise/move, be grateful and thankful for everything you have and be happy and kind to others. Seems like more of a recipe for longevity than spending a load of money (I notice these guys don't have big families to feed) on organic this or grass fed that. Regardless, I appreciate the knowledge and studies presented.

I used to be a big fan of TJ. But, when I found out their romaine lettuce never rotten even over a month later, I stopped buying veggies except for organic potato & garlic over there. I highly suspicious TJ doesn't inspect which growers are not using Apeel coating strictly. However, their meat's quality is great and much cheaper than Sprout Farmer's Market. Thank you, Paul!

I have the same burpy problem with sardines too, like they're threatening to come back up. So I stick with the salmon and canned herring.

Great video, one thing about TJ meat is often not from the USA. Read label, New Zealand or Australia can be mixed in . Imagine your beef traveling from “down under” to California

Wait, I am so confused... On the website and the AB30 chart it says raspberries are a good food to eat. But in this it's under high oxalate foods to avoid..... So is it okay to eat or not?

Can someone PLEASE HELP ME. I have severe psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. I know Paul says to avoid seed oils and I do but the one I’m Curious about is CBD oil. Is cbd oil bad? Does it count as a seed oil since it’s hemp seed oil? People say it’s anti inflammatory and yet Paul says seed oils ARE inflammatory. Should I consume it or stop???

Love your content! I try to follow your diet but one thing I'll never be able to give up is kimchi! I've eaten it my whole life. Since it's fermented, I would hope that the positives of that outweigh the negatives.

Hey Paul, If you don’t recommend peanut butter because of all the seed oils do you have any other recommendations or substitutes like any types of almond butter or will those will contain the same oils you recommend taking out of your diet?

Paul, I'm transitioning from strict carnivore to adding fruit and honey as of 4 days ago and this morning after eating meat, honey, and mango my blood sugar spiked to 175 and quickly went down. I heard you say that as long as the blood sugar spike lowers quickly it's fine, but 175 feels a bit excessive. Will this get better in more time? To add, it was probably about 75-100g of carbs that I ate.

Hey, try eating your fruit first in the day separate from any fat or protein. Your insulin response will be best in the morning after fasting all night. Fat in the blood blocks insulin receptor sites. Try it out!

I might be wrong about this, but i strongly believe that store bought fruit of any kind is crap. Because most of the fruit in the store are harvest when they are not ripe, so technically the tree does not want you to eat them yet. I strongly believe there is something missing or something that should not be there in pre harvest fruit, even if it ripens naturally on your counter at home. Fruit is a seasonal food that should be harvest and eating fresh from the tree when the time is right.
