Crazy thing is that there's a prison in i think its in Brazil that replace there guard dogs with guard geese because there cheaper than dogs, louder than dogs, will attack any prisoner who would try to escape since they are very territorial, and actually have better vision in both day and night than dogs so ya geese make the best guard animals

Would a Lovander even be considered an animal? I mean, 1) Lovanders have a fully humanoid body (upright stance, fully dexterous hands) 2) Lovanders can use tools (and do it sassily) 3) Lovanders can bake (who do you think gives them those beautiful two tier cakes they drop, the bakery at the corner?) 4) Lovanders have a decent knowledge of recreational drugs (another drop from them are the two aptly called "strange liquid" and "suspicious liquid" - that boost a pal's efficiency while taking a toll on their sanity) So, basically Lovanders are a low to middle level sapient species. Kind of like a cro-magnon man if said cro-magnon were a tall pink lizard.

All the Pals are sentient, and most are fully sapient and capable of both using tools and carrying out complex tasks. The Lifmunk is straight out stated to be as intelligent as the average 7 year-old child, and has a penchant for taking vengeance on those that wrong him/her.

Cute story, a gooseling at a Buford Dam near Lake Lanier was being attacked by one of my Shorgis & I managed to save her. I took let her sit on my hands, we found the mom, she was freaking out a little, but I stood sideways I lowered my self to one knee, & I put her gooseling down & gave the little nugget a pinch of mealworms & a pair of crickets for it's troubles. She had unusual wings tho. Not the typical colored downy (it was tortoise shell colored). So after 3 years, I was at the dam again. And she walked up to me & was being chummy. I instantly recognized her. When she honked at some nearby reeds, I saw a line of her younglings emerge all excited. So I spent the day with geese following me & chilling with the tourists & hikers. It was good times, & I enjoyed every moment of it! But yeah, geese can go Rambolambodouchebag mode in no time. But I assume each time they're guarding eggs & mates, or were startled.

I believe in RDDR2, if a bear charges at you, and you just stand your ground without fighting it, the bear will actually stop, and eventually leaves. That's one of the more interesting and nuanced implementations of animal behavior in a game, I would've been curious what he thought about that, given that it more closely deals with the question of what you should or shouldn't do if attacked by a bear, rather than the less plausible idea that you could fight the bear.

Okay, so for some clarification on Stray, basically you start out in a family of stray cats, the ginger being one of them, they were exploring and whatnot, until the ginger slips and fell down a big hole, led down to a forgotten city, well it was a modern one since the outside where the cats are looks like post humanity. And the best is something that little robot gives to the cat fur this daring adventure. And if you notice the majority of the population of that city was robots, well they were like House Bots, but they gained consciousness, like humans, although those little things attack the cat are dangerous and sensitive to sunlight. So the whole city is underground and away from the sun.

Yeah, never run from predators or even show your back to one if you can help it. Running will just jump starts their prey instincts plus most predators can run faster than any human anyway best thing to do is depending on the type of predator is back away slowly, not taking your eyes off them, try to look non-threating but not like easy prey, try to make yourself look bigger, be as loud as possible, try to put something sturdy between you and said predator if you can, or in some cases play dead, if that doesn't work and you need to fight back aim for the sensitive spots like the eyes, nose, throat or in the case of sharks the gills. And if you plan on going somewhere you know you might run into a dangerous predator, bring protective measures like bear spry, a baton, a taser, or even a gun if posable. And of cores don't be stupid and try to take a selfie with them. It's one thing to take a selfie with an animal at the zoo where the animals are in sealed enclosers and can't get to you, but you don't have that same protection in the wild more people get attacked by wild animals because they get too close to get a selfie.

if you cant get a goose to stop attacking you then you can grab its neck (don't squeeze) and hold it at arms length with its feet on the ground. It might bite your arm some but it can't get to your face. Then back out of the area you think its protecting while holding on and give it a little shove and let go and get out of there. It should be spooked enough to head back to wherever it came from and it shouldn't be terribly hurt. Of course go to the doctor right away and get the bites looked at. Especially if skin is broken. You might need some shots or something. Oh, and this DOES NOT work on swans. All geese can do is honk loudly and bite you. Swans can smack and batter you with their wings and do some real damage. If you're attacked by a swan just run like hell and call for help.

The Problem with Geese isn't only pecking but also their "Teeth" (I know, they aren't Teeth, but it's a good Word to describe them). Helped to take Care of a Pair of Geese for a While and even though the male was very peaceful and was letting me pet him, this completely changed when they had Chicks. He became very territorial to protect them. One important Tip for interacting with Geese: wear long and relatively thick Pants (normal Jeans are ok from my Experience but you will still feel it when they bite you). It will also take a While for them to let go once you're bitten. If I remember correctly, he did multiple Bites, but they were so fast that it took a While to escape. Also be cautious with your Fingers. It's Fun to handfeed them, but if they get you, it's guaranteed that they will make you bleed at least a little bit
