@J. B. Yeah Realism when it was Used to Enhance the Gameplay was a Good Realism, as much as i Love Story in Death Stranding, Both The Gameplay and The Realism takes away the fun from that Game. And this is what makes Kingdom Comes Great because really, it was Supposed to be a Faithful Recreation of the Medieval-Ages, and Thus the Realism further Improving it.

I picked the game and I noticed that too. Kinda semi-realistic too, they won't yield if it's 3vs1, but once you drop 1, the another may just run the heck out of there while the ballsiest guy stays and becomes less aggressive. I had poor condiiton sword for a loong while and had plenty of surrenders because.. Even if it doesn't kill you, getting slapped around with a piece of iron for few minutes seriously gonna affect morale. @@NikoBased I think it's pretty underrated since it was produced by rather unknown studio and released with very little advertising. The first time I even heard of it was when it was advertised as on sell in the PlayStation store and I did some research on the game and decided it was worth a shot since there was so many customization options and branching storylines depending on your actions and it was half off with all dlcs included. From what I understand it only got big sells after it was released for awhile through word of mouth from players who enjoyed the game. The people I've spoken to about the game either randomly stumbled upon it like i did or it was recommended by a friend, so it's safe to say that it's underrated as of now but if sells continue to grow strong we might call it overrated when looking back years later lol

The backswing low down that they were criticizing is a popular technique actually. You would essentially punch downward and flick with your wrist so the back of the blade cuts the back of the thigh. Most people are unarmored there as most of their armor if any was positioned towards the front towards enemy. Its a good way to hamstring an enemy. Wouldn't work. It would just be a parry fest. Who ever hits the most master strikes wins. The game is also much more dependent on stats than some people want to admit. If Henry is low level, he gets bodied. High level, with right skills, he cooks everyone that tries to 1v1. A game like Chivalry or Morheim would be better for that. Even then, it'll end up being more interesting in theory than practice. Kind of like that high tech armor they made for sword fighting sports years back.

I'm curious about that too. Some of the vanilla executions could work very well in a practical environment. But for the most part, newer executions are more about flair than kill confirmation, so they tend to go overboard with it. Whereas most of the earlier Warden executions were clean and efficient, latter ones down the line are more boastful and distracting in a real life situation.

From someone who knows and trained with the master who did the KCD: No attacking low is not stupid. It points to the origin of the strike, not it's target. @@lorddiethorn Yeah, but Robert is not really all that much fan of Unterhau on arm. They are easily avoided or cut through. Yes from certain situations you can go for armpit etc... but cutting his head open is just much simpler - and it tends to be the closest thing to you anyway. If we're cutting on hand it's usually some sort of shortened cut, not a full strike. You don't want to invest that much energy in something that easily avoided. It's like why Meyer dropped stabbing and lunges. It's too much of a risk/investment in a situation where it isn't exactly necessary.
