Sometimes, when it’s late at night, I think of Rasetti the mole. His funny voice. His charming yellow builder’s hat. The way he would pop-out of the ground to scold me. I hear this music and it takes me back to a simpler time when it was just me and Rasetti against the world. I don’t know where he is now or what happened to him but, I just know he’s out there, popping-out of the ground to shout at someone else for not saving their game. I miss you Rasetti..

In the game he mentions that the reset center closed down. In order to get it back, you can start a project for it and pay 368,000 bells for it to be built in your town. Once it’s built, he’ll start appearing again when you don’t save.

It's 02:45 in the morning and my nostalgia brought me here. I'm 19 years old and I remember playing New Leaf until late night during my summer holidays. One day of 6 years ago I felt asleep to this with the 3ds near my bed. I woke up at 4 am and this music was still playing from the 3ds... Times goes really fast, enjoy your teenage guys! Now I can't wait for the new Animal Crossing on switch!

If you didn't figure it out yet, savegames are saved on the cartridge. If it's not a physical copy it's saved on the sd-card and this can be put into another 3ds. :) Playing now again, always coming back to animal crossing somehow.

I had this friend named Luna. We’d play all the time together, this music was always a favorite. I remember..I told her “I love the island.” And she told me, “haha, I know you do.” Those memories seem so distant, now. When I message her she never responds now. I miss those times.. chasing her and then spending like an hour trying to figure out where she hid. Catching big bugs and fish. Such happy memories :)

I was in a relationship with this girl in junior high. She had to leave the school and we had to keep our thing for each other a secret. Both our families religious beliefs didn’t match and we weren’t allowed to see eachother in real life even though we lived in the same neighborhood. Every other week almost around 9 we would play animal crossing and it would be our safe space to talk about whatever we wanted. This music would play and we would sit on palm tree stumps. This song makes me sad but happy at the same time, playing ac was an escape and the only real time I could get away from my super depressed middle school world

back when new leaf came out, i would catch bugs all night until my eyes couldn't stay open any longer, then fall asleep with my 3ds open, and it was so laid back and fun

I specifically remember this song because it was my best method of sleep. For context, I have a bad addiction to the heavy sleeping pills you can buy at the pharmacy, (diphenhydramine hydrochloride) it’s actually sold as allergy medication but I would take about quadruple the dose for one night, and sometimes that wouldn’t do shit. I’m still recovering from this, I’m trying to use small amounts of diphenhydrate (anti-nausea medication aka: gravol) to help ween me off of it. But for some reason, some damn reason. I had one other way of falling asleep, and that was catching rare bugs on the island till I fell asleep naturally. It was insane how it helped, like seriously CRAZY how good it worked. This song is just so damn calming tho Edit: I forgot to mention that the doses for the sleeping pill version of diphenhydramine hydrochloride is SUPER different from allergy meds. For example, one dose of Benadryl is 25 mg of the drug. A sleeping pill is 50 mg. So I was taking up to 150 mg night to sleep, I meant quadruple in Benadryl. As knock off Benadryl is cheap lol
