I've never seen the "shuffle" or "sweating" ones, and none of my villagers have ever mentioned Dr. Shrunk, either. I do wish we could talk to our villagers while sitting, though. I feel like we kind of got robbed with that one. :/

not exactly, sick villagers just walk around sweating, they don't fan themselves. that particular sweating reaction is what flick does when you commission him, and he uses the outrage one when he says "devotion with conditions is no devotion at all."

THE reactions might have been there for trailers and other marketing/testing, hence we can’t use them. We saw customizable fences in a trailer a while back but those were never mentioned. There’s plenty of things that just chill in the games files that, for now, are for Nintendo’s usage. Maybe one day we’ll get them.

You know what I think would be cool? Ok so i think there should be like a day where shrunk comes for about 3 days on our islands and we have to do stuff for him and everytime we do something he said to do he gives us a reaction and if he asks for us to do something bigger then we get rewarded with 2 reactions! I think it sounds like fun!

A few things: 1)I also love the reaction when villagers make that super happy face that happens in conversations (for example, when snooties say "Fabulous" after you gave them something to wear)! 2) Why not have a popsicle and eat it like the villagers do? 3) There is another reaction that was in pocket camp where the villager looks ADORABLE when standing on one foot!

If we get Dr. Shrunk back I want him to be a Dance Teacher and give us special kinds of interactive reactions that could change as we press buttons or thumbstick directions, and then at night turn his Dance Instruction Hall into the Night Club. That said, it would be really fun if we could also design that Night Club, and possibly even reserve it for days (Or a day a block ahead of time, with a specialized interior that it remembers for that day after we design the inside) so we could create Virtual Proms, Dances, Wedding Receptions, and Parties.

Bobs Gang! Thank you so much for sharing! I noticed for some of these reactions, they seem to be on the “negative” side of things. Over happy and positive feelings. Which I think is very interesting. Because even thought Animal Crossing is meant to be a positive experience. Rather by yourself or with friends, negative emotions can and do happen. So by denying them in a way and only showcasing positive things, is also not good. Maybe I’m over analyzing things, but still interesting to point out. XD

The sweating reaction is used by Flick when he talks about making the bug models. He says something like this: "I can already feel the heat of the furnace". I really like this reaction and I was so surprised when I first saw it :)

Fun fact, when you talk to a villager too much in the same day, some will say that they have a lot on they’re mind and can’t talk right now, and they’ll do the begging reaction. This only happens with certain villager types.

when I go between New Leaf and New Horizons, I miss having the Shrunk Shuffle :P whenever I hang out indoors with my villagers, I like to do the Shuffle so they do it too and do the Flourish. Sometimes they mirror my moves, sometimes they don't. I miss having that interaction with them. I hope they bring it back... and more of Shrunk's "so bad they're good" jokes

The reaction I'd like in the game not mentioned in the video is the dance your animal villagers do during events and birthday parties. During Reece & Cyrus's wedding event, you can invite another human resident that lives on your island and when throwing the party, the'll do that same dance the animal villagers can do. It would be nice to have the villager your controlling do this dance.

I think the "chat" reaction is one your character already uses... I'm pretty sure I've seen that if I have a friend visiting my island and they're chatting with one of my island residents, on my screen it will animate them chatting with that to show me they're talking to one of the animal residents.

#1 is the reaction you use when you are talking to Tom Nook at the construction counter; it’s just not available on demand. #4 - I’ve seen cranky villagers do this when you meet them on Mystery Islands - when they are trying to figure out why they are there.

With how long its been since we've gotten a good update, assuming they even care enough to add a big update. They better add enough stuff to make this game as good as new leaf in terms of stuff to do and get like all the shops + upgrades, minigame Island for friends, etc but also some quality of life things like bulk buying clothes or even tools and stuff and bulk crafting. Ik its a tall order but all this stuff would really only get the game back to the quality of a previous game at launch which i think we deserve at this point for essentially buying an alpha build of animal crossing with crafting at launch thats slowly being completed

I recently saw a video ceomg did where she hacked into the game showing each of the building from all angles and going to certain areas you can't like behind Tom Nook and Isabelle's desk. One thing I saw her do a few times was lie on her front. If that becomes a reaction, I could already imagine what some people would come up with, like I could see Dragon Ball Z fans re-creating Yamcha's death with that pose and some custom patterns.
