Jottrato The booing for both the cloud saves and phone app is honestly not a big deal to me nor does it make me see them as toxic. Why can’t Nintendo just get with the times and actually support cloud saves on all their games? And who honestly wants to use the Nintendo phone app just to use voice chat when it should be built into the game itself for convenience and not needing a bunch of wires. I don’t blame people for hating their excuses for these lack of features.

It feels so bittersweet coming back to watch this Direct reaction in 2021. I believe this was the last Direct at Nintendo NYC before the Pandemic hit, and it would be wonderful if in the not too distant future, fingers crossed, we will be able to see these amazing scenes and passionate communities (Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, etc) come together again. Of course going forward, things may not be quite the same as before, but as long as the owners of Nintendo NYC can find a safe way for people to interact with each other in person, then we may be able to see these amazing reactions return once again soon! 🤞

@@Kendorable actually, they were not referring to the name "Sally" as the narrator. "Sally" is the Japanese name of Margie.( the female elephant villager ) In the Japanese version, Margie(Sally) did not appear in the video but instead Peanut did. (Peanut's japanese name is Momoko) So basically they are saying that they were surprised that in the English version the villagers who appeared in the English video were different than the Japanese video, one such as the fact that Margie(Sally) appeared instead of peanut (Momoko). They never mentioned anything about the narrators and their genders being different and they were only referring to the villagers. I hope this helps! :)

@@ArcadianWizard there was a bit of an mistake in the other person who translated this Japanese text for you, so please allow me to fix it a bit. the Japanese text says: "I thought that there were going to be no difference between the English and the Japanese animal crossing direct videos except for the language they use, but to my surprise there were clear differences between the two videos, like the fact that the villager who appeared in the English version was Margie (Margie's Japanese name is Sally) but in the Japanese version it was Peanut(Peanut's Japanese name is Momoko) who appeared. Even the Shops and buildings in the video were aligned in a different way. It's pretty cool that they used completely different gameplay clips for the two direct videos. I hope this helps! :)
