Tip: have your net next to your axe so if you’re chopping down a tree and get attacked by wasps you can easily swap to your net and catch them

I’m not sure if you mentioned this, but if you have a magic-circle flooring with the candle wallpaper (with the room lights off), as soon as you step in the room you’ll hear some beaming sounds and the floor will glow and shoot up beams

I personally love how the catch quotes change depending on sunny or rainy weather (not sure if it works on every critter tho) the squid as an ex will be something like "does it not go "bloop" ?" (idk the exact phrase anymore) when sunny and "I had an inkling it might" when rainy unimportant but a fun easter egg nonetheless

The cool thing about the AC is that it actually has a direction of breeze, if you use the rotating fan only plants right in front of the face will blow!

In "animal crossing wild world" there was a UFO that showed up in the sky from time to time and you had to take it down with a slingshot. And then an alien bird would show up. I thought the "alien invasion" thing was going to be a reference to that, but nope. It's wayyyyyy spookier.

tip: talk to the Able sister at the sewing machine several days in a row and she'll stop dismissing you and greet you in a friendly manner afterwards + give you some rare designs. tip: go to Brewster's shop often enough and he'll stop you before you leave to give you gifts (coffee beans, a grinder, etc.) tip: meteor showers happen at least once a month toward the end of the month so check the weather within the last few days to see if there's a chance of one happening

Another way to "fall in a hole" is to dig a hole next to a river, cross the river to the other side, and use the vaulting pole back across and aim for the hole.

The piranha in the museum follows you : ) The ants crawl out of the cage :O (if you don’t have flys donated yet, you’ll see they are after a cup of tea with sugar cubes, but the fly cage covers it once you donate the fly.)

Here's one for you I just found out. If you go into the fossil section of the museum and go to the room where they have the line up of types of animals, if you stand in the empty spot at the end next to the monkey, a light will illuminate above you.

I went to my friend’s island today and that’s how I found out about the monster statue able to breath fire lol and I also found out about the Able Sisters one today as well after leaving the store to find it was closed and saw it was 20 minutes past closing time.

the Godzilla statue also has a little theme song it plays before it roars if you listen closely. I caught the Coelacanth my 1st try fishing w/ bait while it was raining. 😂 I didn’t know it was that rare to catch. 🙈 I need to pay more attention to rarities in the game.

I just recently started playing a few months ago, and I had already heard that the able sisters wouldn’t kick me out, but I fell asleep while my character was inside the able sisters. I found out that you can still shop the clothes from the day before and the game won’t reload to next day till you leave the shop! I thought that was quite convenient

Okay but the tool organization thing? I actually thought it was the order you had the tools put in the tool ring for the longest time and got so confused/frustrated when my axe was next to my net in the tool ring but pressing right or left would bring up my fishing pole or shovel instead

Like the A/C, fans will also blow plants around. There is an oscillating fan that will blow on the plants and the physics for the fan moving back and forth actually work with them, its neat.

Facts: Nooks Cranny opens an hour before the able sisters Facts: Selling your island fruit or your native fruit will sell for 100 bells, as for others they sell for 500 bells. Facts: The Town Hall Bell will go off every hour Facts: When you get stung by a wasp you can go to nooks cranny and buy some medicine, or ask a villager for some medicine (Not all will give you it or some)

#7: a villager gave me a wall fan once. Halfway across across the room from the wall I mounted it to is a plant. The fan oscillates and the plant moves when-and only when-the fan is pointed at it.

Haven't tested it out yet (just started my island a few months ago) but I heard certain island exclusive colored items (eg Godzilla, Lighthouses, etc) can have their colors changed if you get the Alpaca couples shop opened on Harvs island.

Here are some random stuff me and my mom found out- not very crazy or interesting 😓 1. Your island tune will play in slow motion as the town hall bell 🔔 2. If you press ‘A’ once during crafting you’ll craft a tiny bit faster, and if you press ‘A’ twice you will craft very quickly- I think 🛠 3. Your fountain will change its water pattern for the duration the town hall bell rings every hour ⛲️ 4. (This may have just been a coincidence) It may be possible that when there is no news from Isabelle, she might talk about the tv show that was playing on a tv that may have been in your house 📺 5. When you speed up a villager’s chatting by pressing ‘B’ constantly, their reactions don’t tend to go as fast as their dialogue 🕰 6. When you sit on a toilet, any fruit that you ate automatically gets taken away and the player says “Well that takes care of that!” 🚽 Thanks for reading all the way through if you did- I know these weren’t very “hidden” or “amazing” per say 🗿📖

I'm probably not the first to say this, but *just* setting your island up for online play allows you to stay in Nook's Cranny past closing hours. Don't actually need a buddy in there with you, just make sure it isn't local play as you said.
