Perfect fruit trees stop producing fruit after a while. It's been that way ever since New Leaf launched. Also, you are correct. If you sell your perfect apples in a town that does not grow apples as its town fruit, your perfect apples will sell for A LOT MORE. However, that'll require you to use the online function, and I don't know how you feel about using online functions in Animal Crossing.

You can get more fruit by playing mini games on the island. They will be on the trees and you can collect them and bring them back. Execpt it says other wise like in the maze game. Also carnations are rare. Only given by parents or on mothers/fathers days

With perfect fruit trees, after a certain number of times taking fruit (I think it's like 8 times or something but I don't remember off the top of my head), the tree will essentially die, and it won't continue making fruit. Once a tree dies, you're better off replacing it with a new perfect fruit tree. Edit: Also, Shrunk is an axoltyl

I know you guys film these in bulk, but just in case! I used my perfect fruit as an orchard in my village so some tips: - Perfect fruit trees die after yielding fruit a couple times. - One of the fruit will be rotten and need to be tossed. Use a recycling bin or pay Reese to throw it out. - Chop down a dead perfect tree, as they don't do anything except look spooky. - Sometimes the stump will have a special symbol on it! (This MIGHT depend on the axe you use, but it was almost always a guarantee with my perfect trees.) - These symbols mean that mushrooms will grow around it! Keep them if you want some mushrooms. (Plus they're cute!) - Otherwise you can dig up the stumps. I would replant the perfect fruit in this hole, personally, to keep my orchard tidy. Otherwise just plant new perfect fruit trees with your harvested fruit! :D You can get new town fruit from the island or friends. I'm having fun watching you guys play, so I hope this helps

1. This IS the game where you can buy KK Slider songs. 2. Yes, the perfect trees have a certain amount of harvests and NO it wasn't part of a new update 3. Yes you can shake trees with most tools in your hand. 4. Yes, it did rain because that's the only way to get Gyroids. 5. Yes Jeff, you do need fruit to give to Shrunk. 6. The carnations ARE rare and only obtainable once a year. The lack of knowledge/forgetting everything about this game is slightly irritating, and I'm trying really hard not to be a jerk about it 😂.

Perfect fruit trees always die after you pick from them a few times. That's been a mechanic since the game came out. You can just replant the trees if you save some perfect apples, though.

The little branches on their heads are external gills! They come in many different colors and the pink color that Shrunk shows is actually an albino variation!!!

You only get a certain number of harvest per perfect fruit tree. Additionally, when it dies, you get a rotten fruit from that harvest. Optimally you cut down the dead tree and plant one of the remaining perfect fruits from the last harvest. The rotten fruit always dies when planted. Additionally, foreign fruit sells for 5x as much. However, you cannot plant foreign perfect fruit trees in your town. It will grow normal fruit. There are glitch items known as infinite fruit baskets that are exactly what they sound like. I can give you guys some infinite perfect fruit baskets if you want. Don't sell it. Just take fruit out and don't put any in or it becomes a regular basket.
