What cyrus can do with the other gems is coating a piece of furniture in sapphire, emerald, silver, or amethyst. But he will not make a random piece of furniture from any of these gems like he can with gold. He can only coat things in these ones. And he will only do certain furniture. But you must bring him the gem, the piece of furniture you want coated in the ore, and he will coat it.

Zack, the rules of the ore hunting are simple. Go until time runs out. Whichever color is worth 3, you swap those for the ones that are worth 1. The more total points you have in your pockets when times runs out..that is how much you get point wise.

the Surveillance Center can be located when the player hits a rock each day for a week. One rock will crack and reveal a hole which can be entered to find the center. Inside the player will find Resetti or Don.

The Center may open in the evening after a day of clear weather if the gates are closed. There also must have been rain or snow in the town the day before, or prior to 6:00 AM of the following day. Only one player from each town may visit the Center each time it opens. Five visits by the player will allow them to obtain Pictures from both Resetti brothers

The ores remind me a lot of the 6 Infinity Stones from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ruby = Reality Stone Emerald = Time Stone Sapphire = Space Stone Amethyst = Power Stone Silver = Probably Mind Stone, ‘cause it had 2 colors: blue in the scepter, and yellow around the time Vision was created in Avengers: Age of Ultron Gold = Soul Stone

If you are going to give advice, at least make sure you are accurate with what you are saying. He can't just bring any three gems to cyrus. The only gems that you can bring three of to cyrus to have him make a piece of furniture is gold. If you bring cyrus 3 gold nuggets, he will make you a random piece from the gold furniture set. (You don't get to choose) You can only have him make an entire piece of furniture from 3 gold nuggets, no other gem work can do that.
