Hi, Mori! Avid Wild World player here. Super excited to see you playing. Here's some tips while I watch (apologies if you figured it out during the live): -Don't forget to bury a regular shovel to get a golden shovel! -A golden slingshot is acquired after popping a certain amount of balloons (pop the golden balloon when you see it just like NH)! -Pascal is the NPC which can give you a golden axe (you can google the "golden axe trading event" to see more). -Pelly gives you the golden watering can when you have a perfect town which is pretty much end gameish. -Golden fishing rod & golden net come from completing your critterpedia. -Upgrading your house, shops, & completing the museum will get you the models. -There is no incentive for paying off your final home loan (idk why they didn't give us something for this). -You can wish on shooting stars to receive rare items in the mail the next day. -Your mom will gift you a new fruit in the mail & your villagers will give you new fruit (you can get ALL the fruit w/o visiting others' towns; apples, peaches, pears, cherries, & oranges!) -As you know, making a perfect snowman will get you snowman items in the mail the next day. -There is a way to get KK Slider & Tom Nook's picture ("golden axe trading event"). -If you get a clothing item from Gracie, keep talking to them for special dialogue. -Gifting Wendell fruit can get you paths. -Shooting down Gulliver's UFO will get you special items. -Shooting down Pete while he's flying above town is a "rare" event as many don't know you can do it. -Bottles will still wash up on the beach (the ones already set in the game). -During December, the Bright Nights event is when the villagers decorate their homes with christmas lights. -The flower festival is when the cherry blossom trees exist for a short time. -You can meet Cornimer during the acorn festival. -Getting the complete snowman series collection will also get you a reward. -If you visit another player's town to get Nookington's or sell turnips, and the player has Kaitlin, there is a chance Katie will be seen on your town & you have to bring her back (can be done with DS to DS too). -There is no Halloween event in Wild World. -As long as you send your villagers letters & talk to them everyday, they will remain in your town. If you leave for a long time without checking in with them, they will probably be gone the next time you log in (especially if you don't have any friendship points). -Villagers can be stubborn & can take a long time to give you their photo. -If a villager is sick, you must visit them for several days in a row and give them medicine. -Visiting Brewster in the roost & talking to him from the counter can trigger special dialogue. -Visting Blathers during certain times can trigger special dialogue where he mentions Tom Nook & other NPC's (same with the other NPC's too). -The grass does not deteriorate so don't be afraid to run!

This game doesn’t have grass deterioration. The towns in this game are just kinda barren like that. Anyways, cool to see someone else play this game in 2024!

My WW town is a barren grassless wasteland covered in weeds because the grass deterioration in this game is out of control and i havent played WW for years so the weeds have taken over

Ww was my first Animal Crossing game and my first game (handheld) console. I bought it myself after begging my parents for permission. One day my brothers handed me a Christmas present that had been wrapped around several times and inside was WW. I remember barely being able to see and feeling light headed as I walked on clouds with my pink DS Lite to the register.

Hey Mori ! I've been binge watching your wholesome City Folk playlist for days (and mostly nights) and fully enjoying it ! Wild World was my first ever AC 15 years ago so It is totally amazing you're playing again now and I got a blast from the past watching this first vid , especially your interaction with the AB Blaster Academy Only Member Samson ^^, Your last interaction with him got me 🤣😂 (love how you said his name haha ^^) . I'm currently replaying WW on my OG 3DS myself and it is still my fave AC experience to this day ! (villagers got so much more personality than nowadays). Thanks to start this one and cannot wait for your daily episode of it ^^ P.S : Did you notice yo got an all boyz club for your first 3 villagers ? Cannot wait for the Ladies to join the party soon (hoping for either Alice, Melba, Freckles, Pate, Bree, Bella ^^). Keep being entertaining & awesome my friend, U Rock !

Since you’re playing the ds version unless its homebrewed with nintendo riiconnect you will never get nookingtons since you need a visitor from another console to visit nook and buy something from him as one of the unlock requirements
