At 60 y/o I just got my first reptile…a BP that I’m so excited to have. He’s beautiful and amazing. I reference your BP care info to make sure I’m doing everything right and he’s doing very well. I know I’ve said this before but watching these medical based videos always brings me back to my days as a vet tech. Because your care is similar to the way we did things 30 years ago. Old school vet care for reptiles can’t be beat as many of the techniques were born out of experimentation to find what worked and what didn’t work. To this day, many vets don’t have that knowledge. 🐍❤️🐍 That motley looks anemic.

Donnie I am 2 mins in- you broke the golden rule (to me personally) about editing a NERD video: NEVER CUT OFF KEVIN. I am 100% here to listen to whatever he says in its entirety. You could have shown him that and included it after but he could have been saying something important to him about making the medical videos that I would (again personally) want to hear. Idk why people hate you so much Donnie, (probably bc I haven't done a Google search) but everyone has a past, and critics. I think overall you do a great job doing what you are supposed to do for this channel so keep your head up. I am new to reptiles, I grew up interested snakes but until I walked by a high white pied ball python in a store, I didn’t active pursue this interest. I have been researching and learning about snakes for the last 8 months and finding NERD and Kevin is helping me provide awesome care to my girl and spurring my interest in many different reptiles. There are a couple of channels I watch all the time. Kevin and his love and compassion for all animals (well and his crazy, crazy wealth of knowledge) keeps me hooked on this channel and learning tons about something I’ve always wanted to learn about. Thanks Kevin, keep yourself weird - that’s what makes you so awesome. Signed another weird animal lover❤️

I personally like the medical videos. It's interesting to see some of the ailments that can affect our reptiles and see how to address it. I do understand that many of these treatments should be preformed by a veterinarian or someone with extensive skill and knowledge. Kevin has a wealth of knowledge and I'm glad he's sharing it with the reptile community.

This was such a cool video!!!! There was a little bit of everything. I really don't understand the genetics, but that's ok. I still like to see and hear about the different morphs I think they're called!! Please correct me if that's not what the diff designs are called. The scaleless was so beautiful! You already know what the shed looks like, lol. I get so excited when I see NERD has posted!! Just all around another great video, Kevin and crew!!!

Interesting with the medical stuff, Snarfles made me subscribe. Showing of the perfect imperfect is the best part of this channel. The love of the imperfect make this channel unique.

I guess I’m a reptile voyeur. I love reptiles but I’m not in a position to keep them myself. The medical videos are my favorite ones you do, I love to learn things, even if I’ll never have a use for the knowledge. It’s a real pleasure to watch someone so caring with so much experience.

Yes, keep the medical videos coming. Don’t have any reptiles, but looking at them very differently now, might have a pet one in the future instead of a dog or cat.

When you were holding all the hatchlings together, one keep striking. You said it was because you were not close to the striking zone. The rest of what to do to prevent that was cut out of the video. Do you put your hands closer?

You are one of the coolest people I ever met. Weird? Maybe. But you have a huge heart and bring so much education about animals that are largely misunderstood. And you manage to put it in layman's terms so the average Joe can understand. Thank you for all you do to make the reptile community more accessible.
