Animal Well | Speedrun Technique | New Bubble Warp | End Game No Wheel Needed | Under 4 minute Runs!

In this video I show how speedrunners are using a new bubble warp to go right to the end of the game. This one is more difficult to pull off as there is some frame perfect timings you have to get right.
You'll need the flute then you go to the animal head room. From there you'll set yourself setup on a ledge to do a bubble warp and play the song:

You DONT play that last note. You open up the pause menu until your bubble is in the correct shape then we do a buffered input. That means, with the pause menu still open, you hold down UR (up right) + use key
Then unpause the game - this will preform the warp. You then need to hit the inventory button after about 2 frames have passed. If you are too slow you'll end up close to the bunny this song gets you and if you're too slow you will warp to the right place, but your character will be stunned and you'll have to try again.
People have been able to speedrun the same in under 4 minutes using this technique. Hopefully this video is helpful to some of you out there who are struggling to understand what is going on.

Thank you for the presentation of the both fail states. Turned out, that I was always too fast on my inventory opens, leading to me giving up. At least I am on the "right side" of the problem, slowing down is much easier to learn. :)

Hey, I managed to warp to the skull room and activate the fireworks, but I went back to activate the buttons to get there so I can backtrack out, but the laser eye dog started chasing me, and since I already activated the fireworks, I was wondering if there’s a way to kill him without it or if he chases me forever and my save file is fucked

Thank you for the video i"m gonna try this! You know if it's patched? Also when you say "the use button" you mean the button we click when using an item? And "up right" you mean in the Dpad? Sorry i'm not so good with the names 😭 still, thank you so much for the video!

As far as I'm aware it is not patched. The use button is the button you press to use an item. In my case on playstation that button is square. UpRight is the direction on the D-Pad yes. No need to apologize. Good luck I hope you're able to get it working!!

Thanks for making this. I haven't been able to land it though and I'm also observing different behavior. Both "too fast" and "too slow" (opening inv immediately and not opening it at all) send me to the room above the skulls then back to the fast travel room If I attempt the warp from one room down (w/ singing fish) I am at least shown the skull room but the blob doesn't appear and I'm immediately sent back I'm on Switch, wondering if it's a platform/version difference. Normal bubble warps and other glitches have all otherwise worked for me Has there been any discussion of platform differences, or why this warp is different from other bubble warps?

The answer: You only get warped to the skull room if you're exactly right or very slightly late. If you're more than a frame or two late or don't open the inventory at all you'll get warped to the above room just like being too fast

@@unebriongaming Yep, I can get it with around 50% consistency now. I'm on the Switch and originally did the inputs too slow, but finding a weird grip on the joycon was key to pressing the inputs fast enough
