I like Roman a lot, he doesn't care about how much weight he's using. He's not trying to impress anyone he's trying to have a good workout. Much respect.

Can't get enough videos out there with 'Rex'. The way he does the reps with pauses makes it look so much more effective in some way. I have been copying his style a lil for the db presses but will do it more often with even more exercises. Probably more safe aswell for my bad shoulder. Great video!

That´s exactly how I found this training style for me. I got injured all the time getting carried away on throwing weights around like a maniac. Now I use the same amount of intensity in my sessions but I focus it 100% on the target muscle instead of letting it go all over the place

The Animal brand really is the perfect home for the athletes it has on its roster. I mean Wrath and Huh along with this guy it's a realistic look at the work ethic they have the dedication and sacrifice. Great work Animal.....

I agree with most of the comments here. The way Rex did his reps is so captivating o.o every move is so precise and focused on the contractions.

Fritz got a correct understanding what is bodybuilding it's definitely not powerlifting and he's got a great form when you preform his exercises.

The bright future of this sport, Roman works harder than anyone ever next to him, stays humble, and has REAL appreciation for where is and what he's doing. So rare today. Watching his evolving progress over he years is something I'm very much looking forward to.

Fully agree about the 225 thing. It is worth it to just feel it out and get the most out of any weight you use. Sometimes it's also worth upping the tempo, but for regular training it's better using a light weight but making it heavy by focusing on form, muscle engagement, pause, and whatever speed you need to make that happen. When you do hit reps that are 'normal', suddenly you realize how much that light work that you made heavy paid off...

Why doesn't he lock his arms out on those incline bench reps?!
@shonuffLA10 жыл бұрын
just go 90% on presses if you lock out it transfers all the weight onto your joints and off the muscle. Remember time under tension is the way to get bigger and it saves your joints. This is for body building tho if your power lifting or something that is another animal.

7:14 He should've borrowed sunglasses from one of those pretty white girls that were watching. 😅😎 I'm sure they would have let him wear their sunglasses so he could live his childhood dream of working out in muscle beach. Doing incline presses like Arnold with sunglasses on.

Unless you've seen Roman train in person you can't even begin to imagine the intensity he puts into every single rep.
